Oh come on, he was in a bad mood he didnt destroy the studio or sthing....

Sore looser would say sthing like - we lost due to the referee or would find excuses.
Fair point, a very very moody loser then.

Neither of those are bad traits for a football manager, Ferguson was a bad loser and aggressive with the media.

Stark contrast from last year when we had a dreary cnut smiling his way through post match interviews after defeats.
I'm OK with his agression, when he's right. At least 9 out of 10 conflicts with the media that is the case, the journalist is manipulative, insinuating, rude, doesn't let him finisher his answer, doesn't ask a question but tries to debate, doesn't listen, asks the same question again, or is just plain stupid. I don't judge Van Gaal by the selfserving norms of the media. But there have been a few instances where he was wrong, and this is one of them because he misinterpretates 'frustrated'.

I think he just took exception to the interviewer being presumptuous and thinking he already knew how LVG felt about his teams performance, and to ask him a loaded question with the answer in it that he wanted to hear.

Van Gaal has been around long enough to recognise this, which is why he pointed out he was proud not frustrated.

He's such a sore loser. His comments are actually quite fair and balanced, but his attitude is very agressive, like everybody is out to get him and he needs to bite their heads off first.

Or maybe he just hates stupid questions, he just said how highly he rates our performance vs Chelsea after which reporter asked regarding his opinion about that.

You're right it was a bit of a loaded question, but also a quite innocent and friendly one. I've seen him react friendlier to questions much worse.

True, but at that point the interview had already taken a turn.

The funny thing is now people are defending Van Gaal against my criticism concerning his behaviour with the media, it has been the other way around the last 25 years. Thank you.

Dont have sound at work. :(

It's a list of potential signings.

He says:

"Mats Hummels, that is a done deal, we announce soon enough."

"Clyne, Southampton have agreed in principal and personal terms are agreed"

"Bale, it will be difficult, but we have the green light from his agent and Perez is open to negotiate"

"Pogba is very keen to come back, Juventus want a fair deal and we are prepared to throw money at them"

"Jackson Martinez? Are you dizzy blud? Fool me once shame on me..."

Amazing :) glad to hear that the club does this more often and not just with cameras present. That says something I think.

LVG has always been great at these occasions. I remember a clip of tournament for mentally handicapped kids where Dutch eredivisisue coaches would be responsible for their assigned team and they were all "just go out and have a good time". LVG however "hey, listen, if you pass to him, you should go forward so he can pass back to you." Was fantastic to see, I'll look it up.
