United in this Summer transfer window

More than happy with what we've got. Genuinely worrying.

"From what I saw today, I'm more than happy with what I've got. It's the best we've played this season. I wouldn't be worried if I didn't add to the squad."

He can't honestly believe this can he?

What?

Did he really say that?

"I thought we were shit. I desperately want new players and I'm willing to pay whatever other clubs demand to get them."

He's preparing for the worst. No way we won't sign anyone IMO.

We'll won feck all in that case.

Did he say that with a straight face?

He was always going to say that regardless of how we played. He's not going to show desperation for players.

What?

Sorry, but... :lol::lol:

OK, I think he is right in a way that it wasn't a terrible performance if he meant that way. We played poorer last season there. This was similar to our Norwich away performance last year but it is clear that we need better quality in midfield otherwise we will struggle a bit. Also, we need to start being more adventurous and he should have spotted that.
There is difference often to what manager tells public and tells players. I hope he will be pin pointing the flaws from today, learn, get Fellaini and Herrera if possible tomorrow to add strength in our weak area and pick up.

He actually thinks we played better today than away to Swansea? Nah, he's just trying to soften the blow on the players much like SAF did, right?

Why does that not sound convincing at all. I am seriously angry and confused at our board, not Moyes, for being in this situation.

Fixed.
One should not deviate from standard lines or fads on caf. 'Angry and confused' should be our new one for this season as 'Sack Fergie Sell Giggs' is no longer applicable.

"I thought we were shit. I desperately want new players and I'm willing to pay whatever other clubs demand to get them."

"I'm dissapointed with the performance. Some of our lads should have done better today and it seems I have to take some of the blame as well. There will be changes following this game. As far as transfers go we have tried very hard but couldnt get in who we wanted."

Why not be honest?

It's a shame that our owners are so poor compared to many other top sides. We have won plenty of league titles, gone for in CL, sell out every week.

Exactly, there's no way he was going to come out and say that, clubs would just hold us to ransom if he'd said we were bad today. But I think he will add to the squad, if not now then maybe in January ?

Unfortunately our uselessness in the window could now have affected results on the field. Bringing in a quality CM earlier on may have won us the game against Chelsea and drawn today. This was always the fear seeing our tough start to the season.

Soften the fecking blow after that performance. Some of our lads need a kick up in the arse, especially Giggs.

Well, in a worst case scenario tomorrow at 9, Lee Cattermole is not wanted by Di Canio so he will be available.

You are spot on with this. I actually believed that we would have made two signings by now. I feel sorry for Moyes as he will have to deal with all criticism of our bad performance.

We'll sign Fellaini and we'll still win feck all honestly. He's not really what we need. I can't see the players we're linked with at the moment making the difference.

He needs to stop talking like that. We are Manchester United, we shouldn't be "getting in what we can". Let's judge him tomorrow then but I wouldn't be surprised if nothing happens now.
