He has pace and power on the ball, but his passing is nothing special and he doesn't have amazing dribbling either. As a goal threat he is not up to much really. His assets are his pace and his crossing - the wing is the place for him.

I thought so too. That is why I'm wondering why anyone would want to put Valencia in attacking midfield instead of him if we signed him. IMO this fella is an upgrade of Park. I'm sure he could pull off a good Lampard impression.

German kicker.de reporting that CSKA Moscow are interested in Zoran Tosic and are looking at a swap deal which could involve right-midfielder Milos Krasic.

I really wouldnt mind seeing that happen although we do have quite a few wingers at our club surely we have one too many to make place for them all Valencia Nani Park Giggs Obertan Cleverley

He can play in center midfield. I'm not sure playing in a flat 2 would suit him though. But he can definitely play in a 3 or at the apex of a diamond.

Well they probably have been told by Krasic that he wants to leave and United are a possible destination.. Thus them offering the option to pick-up Tosic plus some cash in exchange.. I know its unlikely as I mentioned above cause we have so many wingers but I have not accounted for the future and the fact that Giggs may retire soon and Krasic is very versatile.. Added with the fact that Obertan is still young and could need a loan and that Cleverley could eventually be a central player could mean that we will be in need for a winger..

Isn't Krasic on the last year of his contract? if so a replacement winger + cash deal for him would make sense for CSKA.
The deal is now also 'confirmed' by a Serbain newspaper. Tosic plus some cash for Krasic.

I cant see why people are seeing the Tosic and cash deal for Krasic as strange. I mean think about it. Spartak would make some decent money out of their winger and get his successor in the process. In that way they will avoid being pushed to spend over the odds to find Krasic replacement

Dont know where I read that CSKA would sell Krasic for £16m, but let's assume it's true- if we consider Tosic to be worth £5m would we be ready to pay the extra £11m for Krasic?
Please let this happen! it would be almost to good to be true, Krasic is a fabulous player and to get him for a few million quid on top of Tosic would be literally stealing!

No just no Chief. They are nothing alike, I'm sorry. Krasic is as direct as they come, he's similar to Valencia in that respect but with a better football brain and I think he cuts in a lot more.
He maybe could but I don't see him moving from the wings at all, not when he can cross as well as he does. In that respect he would play more like Ronaldo than Lampard i.e cutting in from the flanks.

To be honest he needs to use his left foot more. I've seen him play on the left and cut in before for Serbia's youth teams but not enough IMO. However, I think its something that SAF would make him do if he did come to United.
Krasic would be a good fit for United, direct with pace and end product.
