With this flawed posting system, every post counts for a...post, or something.
I'm turning into swaggy in the random chat thread.

What was your view on the ground in Scotland? Genuine belief in an SNP landslide?

The triumphalism of a heavily left-wing forum, supposing the Tories win? Still think this has a sting in a tail tbh.
Whatchu talking about, Jip.

Best hope for Labour at the moment is Tory at 305ish with Lib Dems still decimated.

I was doubtful, but all the info seems to be suggesting that, yeah, it's going to be close to a landslide. Tom Harris seems to be gone, Margaret Curran looks likely to be gone, with even Jim Murphy possibly on his way out. A lot of varying rumours though: one I heard had the Tories beating Jim Murphy.

My seats seems likely to be going SNP.

Even if the exit polls are right a Lab/Lib/SNP informal coalition has to be more legitimate than anything the tories can muster

Even though all those three parties combined aren't even equal to the Conservatives? (239+10+58=307 v 316)

@Cheesy not sure how I ended up with so many posts. Nick's are infinitely more insightful than mine, so consider me noise in the background.

Certainly not when it comes to economics, i try to accept my limitations and allow the professionals like yourself to takeover.

Galloway's taking his demise with all the grace of Henry Sellers, apparently.

That's the sucker punch. I'm scanning the potential outcomes darkly and am worried.

Jim had impressive height so he could look down on people well. So it looks like the SNP popular support has carried through, unlike Clegg last time? With such a potential landslide, how the feck did the referendum campaign fail?

The truth is that Muslim communities have had a harder time integrating than other migrant groups like Carribeans for example. Near where we live the schools now have to have a mixed quota of ethnicities. Previously the schooling system was more ghettoised for Muslims. I am interested to see if the future generations are more integrated and harmonious because of the new system. I don't see any reason why they shouldn't be.
Muslim communities near that region seem to feel too marginalised in my opinion. I can't stand seeing my 11 year old nephew having a Palestine flag as his what's app photo but what can I do considering the community he is raised in. I know 20X more politics than he does but he's already deemed himself ready to make a political stand because of what he gets told by his stupid friends. The whole situation is a mess!

Approx what time will we pretty much know the answer?
I'm guessing it'll be before it's announced officially.

They're not one and the same. They got 45% of the vote in the referendum. If they repeat that in every seat in Scotland they'll win 59 of 59 seats.
