I still can't get my head around the projected result.

The Lib Dem vote has clearly completely collapsed, with the UKIP vote rising. I don't see how those two facts can combine to increase the Tory vote? Surely those movements should best benefit Labour?

It could be geography related, i saw an article about a week ago in which the Tories were predicted to take fourteen seats in the South West alone, and Labour don't have a serious thereabouts. UKIP could be increasing its vote share bu

What a terrible election for the Lib Dems... I'm still amazed now that the party allowed Nick Clegg to lead it into this election.

There's a Lib Dem deposit count on Twitter.

It is insane how split different regions seem to be this time around. Scotland, 'The North', London, Wales, Northern Ireland, South West, The Home Counties... Ideological blocks in the country.

 David Lammy giving it to Kay Burley on Sky News.

3-1! The Tories are making a come back. It's ON!

Hahahaha, Alan Johnson was doing quite well until he said "in a way all three parties have lost".

Swindon North's results looking very bad for Labour, in line with the exit poll.

How does a former Lib Dem voter switch to UKIP... let alone the Tories? Can't get my head around that at all...

Reports that some Scottish constituencies have turnouts of 75%+.

Does anyone actually believe that the 'economic mess' wouldn't have happened had Conservatives been in power? I guess they must do since the Tories bang on about it so much.

A lot of people just vote for whoever is biggest that are not Labour/Tory.

Yes, loads of people think that. Mental, innit?

Oh yes. I am sure that the Tories would have kept us in economical prosperity whilst the global markets crashed, seems totally logical.

I don't get it... did a coalition government suddenly change their entire world view?!

This guy was voting for UKIP like...a year ago, yet is now voting SNP a few months after the election since he feels they're best for Scotland. Maybe he's just going tactical because he hates Labour or something.

What was the point in Theresa May even being there? She literally wasn't willing to offer anything to any question. They should have sent her on her way earlier.

Scotland is one of, if not the most, homogeneous country in Europe. 96% white. Which is why I find it hard to buy all this Scotland is more inherently socially progressive than England in that regard.

Where I come from which is North Manchester there are working class towns like Moston close by that have completely transformed in the past ten years in term of demographics. It feels like about 50% of the people there are foreign born now when you are in the town there. That level of immigration in such a short space of time would cause friction if it happen in built up areas of Scotland, of that I'm sure.
I'm of Pakistani origin and was the only minority in a school with 800 white people. I'm not sure whether I got off in racial abuse because Scotland is more progressive or whether because I was 6 foot when I was 14 years old and was friends with most of the people likely to cause trouble. There was a kid from bradford who moved here when he was about 15 and was ethnically indian and got a shit load of abuse in his time at our school so I guess I can't really claim my community was any better.

My family is based in Nelson down in England which seems to be split between the Pakistani community and the English community. The last time I went down there I was amazed by the lack of multicultural presence there. I don't think that kind of community is healthy to be honest and it creates an us against them mentality which I seriously disapprove of. I personally lay the blame towards the pakistani families who prefer to send their kids to mosques and schools where they will never encounter white people. What kind of experience is that? :wenger: Anyway that's just my opinion and I've never lived down there...

Hardly any movement to Labour it Putney either. They weren't going to take it but they should at least be getting a decent swing. Exit poll looking more and more right...
