If they're circulating messages they will obviously be leaked right? To prove what they are saying, no?

It’s not difficult to invent a what’s app conversation. There are websites that do it for you and takes less than a minute.

It's not comparable to a small child suffering from pneumonia having to lay on a pile of coats in a hospital though is it? That's my point.

When have I said Red Tories?
Not aimed at you. Just making a general point about all those labour types who have spent the last 3 years insulting the very people they need to win a majority.

Verified or not, the usual toilet tags will pepper their front pages with “Labour thugs assault MP in Hospital, this is Corbyn’s Stalinist Vision”, and then the damage would be done. Heck you’ve already got the feckin state broadcaster playing along.

If I had to call it now I'd guess it'll be a Tory majority by around 18 seats.

Quote it.
Hung parliament. Tory-Lib Dem coalition. Jezza will stay on as leader and Scotland will vote SNP and build an ice wall.

Peter Oborne:

Between 1-4 Dec the Conservatives blasted out 6,749 adds on Facebooks. 88% made claims that had already been classified by Full Fact as misleading. Boris Johnson's Tories are deceiving voters on an industrial scale. NB Facebook allows political lying.

In his campaigning, Boris Johnson says that, if elected, his government will negotiate a trade deal with the EU by the end of 2020.

But what about a no-deal scenario, if the UK and the EU do not manage to reach an agreement? That would mean trading according to the rules of the World Trade Organization, which regulates trade between 170 countries.

The former director-general of the WTO, Pascal Lamy, tells Radio 4's World at One that a WTO regime would be "a shock for UK trade".

He compares it to moving "from first league football to fourth or fifth league football".

"My hope is that if and when Brexit happens we will negotiate with the UK an open trade deal," he says. [\quote]

I'm sure Laura will become Director-General of the BBC once Boris gets rid of the license fee and fully monetizes yet another national treasure.

Has any Hospital spokesperson given a formal explanation of why this situation arose? Are the Hospital management suggesting/admitting that they couldn't find one bed in the whole of the hospital? It is an awful situation but it seems a bit convenient that photographers were there.

Boris's reaction to the photograph is strange however, but he like most people would be shocked and think surely even with a lack of funding the hospital administrators could have found a bed, or something better!
What are you on about? You're aware that anyone has the capability to take and share a photo nowadays, right? They didn't have to wait for the paparazzi to stop by, or book the bloke from Mothercare.

Good to see her apologise and delete her earlier tweets... oh wait, no she hasn't.

Pretty grim encounter  She's beyond parody at this point, they're being held accountable by the public for something that should never have happened.

I didn't hear a single use of bad language, nobody was in anyway threatening other than airing their grievances with a little boy with pneumonia having to lie on a cold hospital floor.

Won't somebody think of Hancock though, having to put up with grim encounters like this.

How can anyone vote for these isolationist and borderline fascist rhetoric.
And not even see that there is a positive there that the reverse is true to them? Sod everyone, bolt the doors and lock us all in, just so you hear fewer foreign accents in your local shops!

This is genuinely insane. Kuenssberg posts a completely unfounded statement that a Labour activist punch Hancocks adviser, waits for all the papers to write their headlines, then posts a video showing the advisor just walked into the guys outstretched arm!

And still doesnt apologise about massively misleading everyone!

This is the BBC's chief political reporter! You wouldnt even see this in North Korea

I mean, the real story is still a headline on the Beeb site so I'd imagine it'll be on the news for thirty seconds tonight.

The absolute desperation to fight the Tory side of the argument is just breathtaking. She's never been held accountable so she's no longer bothering to hide it.

The media have a part to play but the UK as a whole simply will not support hard left policies. There is decades worth of evidence for this, way before the media became as powerful and influencial as they are now.
Firstly, Labours policies are NOT hard left. The Labour spending plans are in line with OECD countries. Compared with which we are currently second lowest investment!

Why do you believe they are hard left? Could it be the media?

Secondly, if it was true that the public didn't like socialist policies then the Tories wouldn't need to lie about saving the NHS when ideologically that want to privatise it. They wouldn't pay lip service to "building new hospitals" and 50000 'more' nurses.

She's mine too. I like her, she seems to be very good.

Yeah seen a couple articles about her positioning herself for the leader position should Corbyn go. I don't know much about her or the other possible leaders, but what I've seen so far of her I like.

Asked why Tory candidates in Sunderland are not from the area, Boris Johnson says it would 'not be fair to discriminate against people on the basis of where they come from'

Swinson on the radio this morning couldn't have been clearer about not wanting to put Corbyn in office. Is that as a result of other comments made by her reported over the weekend that suggested otherwise?
To be fair to her. She does have to win Tory voters over pre election. We all know how hard those Lib Dems stick to their pre election promises.

Although looking at her voting record she would be a far right Tory.

It is the same in my constituency. The only candidate who actually lives in it is the Labour one and seems to be the same in other places:

The State Senior Political correspondent is literally spreading fake news

i'm watching the indian home minister pushing through a citizenship bill that grants citizenship based on religion, which for me is against the foundation of india as a secular state. he has a massive majority so he knows the bill will pass.
the part that sticks with me is this: whenever, in his ~40 minute speech he gets bored or has the mood, he lobs a small grenade at the opposition - you allied with x, so how can you say anything, smiles a bit, waits for the uproar, smirks, and then continues. it's a game to him.

i think boris is just like that. i'm wondering if he got the irony of his statement and said it just so that his opponents would impotently gnash their teeth.

Hound people on their doorstep till they slam the door... Swear at them and of course blaim Blair

I reckon you've actually been disenfranchised by the Tories rather than Labour. In a normal timeline you'd have accepted you're shift to the right with age and think it's sensible to vote Tory now but the centre right party you're looking for is no longer there so you put your energy into moaning about a Labour party that no longer represents you.
