UEFA Champions League Matchday 1 fixtures (18th - 19th Sep 2018) | Kick off @ 17:55 and 20:00 BST

Definitely an element of shite coaching at play here with regard to PSG. They don’t even attack well.

What's the story with Arbeola
We're talking about PSG's keeper Areola, not Alvaro Arbeloa, who got studded in the testicles by Sturridge, and Salah's goal was chalked off as a result. This was a huge affront to the magical Liverpool fans so now they're booing him for getting kicked.

Is Salah carrying an injury or something? Looks half the player from last season.

He's getting himself into too much distraction with his problems with the Egyptian FA and really don't think he's that focused as last season.

PSG is so bad. It's incredible!

They go backwards every time they try to take a step forward.

Blanc made them a QF regular - sacked.
Emery consistently got to Ro16 - sacked.

Now after having signed Neymar and hired a new manager, they play like this in their first group match...

So the Dutch commentator's another one to put in the idiot category.

How one could be interested in football, let alone make a living off it, and think that going studs first to the nutsack of an opponent is not a foul, is beyond me.
Aye, it was a dick move..

:wenger:

Blanc and emery were sacked after winning everything except champ league. Tuchel is fecked

Personal issues do have a huge impact on players so we'll see how he copes for rest of the season.

What cnuts!

Imagine being McManamans wife or one of his kids?

I've never heard such whiny passion over such mundane non-incidents. He seems like he'd make leaving a light on in an empty room sound as though you'd taken his entire life savings and spent them on wine gums.

Andy Robertson, 7 fecking million. Astonishing bargain
Yeah ridicilous isn't it. Talk about value in the market.

But perhaps it's Klopp's coaching that has completely elevated his level.

Looks like he’s not sharp so far this season. We’ll know after a couple months I guess if it’s just that.

Also worth remembering last season was a real surprise from him. Nothing suggested that sort of output was coming. Might not happen again this time.

Robertson is annoyingly good. Why the hell didn't we raid Hull at the time

Even more annoyingly, Liverpool have actually had a very decent transfer strategy over the last few years. They've spent well both on the expensive and cheap brackets of the market. It's quite frustrating.

I still think the best PSG team is the mid-90s one with Rai, Ginola, Valdo, Weah. If they could combine that midfield(or bring in Susic from the 80s teams) with this forward line they would be very formidable.

Salah looks like he’s levelled out. Barely looks a footballer at times.

This is just an awful game by PSG, unable to even string a few passes together without being completely sloppy. I know they have their issues with the midfield and Veratti not being there, but the score really flatters them. This team is in bad need of reinforcements in midfield and defense.
