UCL Round of 16 - First Legs - Feb 18 - 26

Idiot, shouldn't have tackled him. Being a goal down isn't the end of the world, being a goal down and a man down is bad.

Demechelis has been a massive liability for City. I was shocked they didn't go for another CB during the summer.

Yeah, never really understand the thinking in those situations. From behind, against Messi? It's always going to be late and easy red card call to make.

Actually feck it, a City defeat would please me just as much, even though we'd have a slightly better chance of winning the CL with Barca out rather than City.

Ha to all the people complaining about Demichelis starting.

We went to the Nou Camp, against Barceona in their pomp with Mikael Silvestre in defence, Wenger subbed him off after an hour and he almost never subs off a defender.

Did I mention we also started with Bendnter up front and Denilson in midfield?

Albeit we lost badly but I've never moaned about Silvestre being the reason why we lost. He wasn't good enough but neither were we as a team.

This is a weaker Barcelona team, City are playing a much stronger XI than we did back then and they are at home. If they lose as well it won't be because of Demichelis alone

Interested to see what they do now. Down to ten and a goal down at home. Do you go for it knowing that you're probably fecked if you don't get something out of this home game or do you try to defend at all costs, stay cautious and try to keep it at 0-1?

Ah, who cares, they're fecked either way!

How can you spend 100 billion and still line-up with Demichelis as one of your centre backs?

If that was United under that sort of pressure I don't think I'd have been able to breath if I was watching
