Was it a highly reported move in Portugal? I'd never heard of him before this season, and I'd never seen him play before but I knew he was highly rated due to FM and this is the first I'm seeing of him.
I thought a €15.75m move from Benfica to Monaco would have been reported in the English press, but I don't recall seeing anything.
Well i think Germany will show up in the second half, i doubt they will replicate their first half performance.

How have Pereira and Carvalho been?
No. His evolution has been a surprise. I mean he always had potencial and was praised by Benfica´s great former players like Chalana who called him Seixal´s (his birthplace) Messi but he always played for Benfica B and couldn´t crack into Benfica´s main team. Not easy when he´s up against Gaitán or Sálvio. If he had the chance i bet Benfica would have gotten much more (sport and money wise).

We even ruined our technicans with "Umschaltfußball" till they puke - just to not have them being able to pass well from the back.
Good. Carvalho in line with his tournament performances. He has been our second best player after Bernardo Silva. Two Mom awards for Bernardo, one for Carvalho. Pereira has been excellent and i think he deserves more chances at Porto.
Cheers. With Danilo gone, he should be getting more of a look in this season.

Well, we went for a coach whose only work of note had been with youth NTs. I remember thinking if he wasn't Spanish and had been Rui Jorge the outrage would have been a lot more and the leniency a lot less. And, by the looks of it, possibly a better choice. Great work so far, never got so excited about Under-21s as I am now.

I think he did well for Belenenses too. I remember he got praised for his work and there were rumours we were interested in him for our youth rank structure. Tactically he has been spot on in this tournament. The qualifying wasn´t a real challenge because we were up against Norway and Israel
