Portugal's kit is nicer too.
Portugal's kit is nicer too.
Swedens U21 team from the final loss in 1992 in the Euros. Quite a few great names in there to say the least.

WOW! So technically England are the moral champions. Incredible.
Looks like Lewicki would walk into our starting XI based on his performance. He is fecking everywhere, more lungs than Park.
There's absolutely no way he is not getting signed by a bigger club after this tournament.
Lewicki impressed me the most, we haven't had that type of player since Linderoth.
Don't really know that much more. He was a starter in our second team (basically a u23 side), that got relegated from the 3rd league in 10/11. From the few games I watched, he looked decent without standing out, but then we were overall a bit of mess and got relegated for a reason and I didn't follow him or the team regularly. We tried to keep him, offered him a new contract but he left. That's all I know really.@Balu What did they say about him when he played for your youth team?
Thank you mate. Yeah it was excellent day. It was our first silverware in 8 years, so you can imagine the party.
About the game today, not very confident and the german manager was smart to reinforce their midfield since it is our stronger sector, but i hope it´s a good game and the players give everything. Some are extremely tired but so are the germans, no excuses there. We don´t have a good historial against them but someday we will have to break the cycle. We just need the spirit of Sérgio Conceição in our team
World champions of Europe!!
of the universe.
Went quite well for you.
Great that you ended the 8 years. See you in the CL?
Congrats mate, you were spot on. Swede4n nullified Portugal and their lack of a focal #9 was clear, I actually thought you were going to win it in the second half as the momentum shifted.
Heh hope so. We will need an easy draw in the play off though.
About yesterday´s match, i couldn´t even watch it due to work commitments but i want to congratulate Sweden. Also a word for our players, who did very well but lost again in the penalties (same as Figo u21 generation). But there are great players in this team and we will surely see more from them in the future.
You guys had some great talent in the team. Sweden won the tournament but I think the Portuguese team had the most talented players. At the end of the day what you really want from a U21 is some talents who can become key players for the senior team.
For all the praise Portugals offense got through out the tournament you conceded just one fecking goal in all the tournament facing the best teams of Europe like Italy, England, Germany. It came very late when you had nothing to play for as well against Sweden who needed a goal to survive.
Do you think the defense of this team can eventually be part of a Portuguese senior team?
