Porto don't need to do anything silly either, they will have plenty of other buyers willing to pay directly.

That's true, but if City are ready to offer an extra 5-10 mill, would Porto say no?

It is now unfortunately. It wasn't at the time though.
Certain members of the press were told an open letter from Giggs would be put on the MUFC site imminently. Not sure if they were told the content but either way doesn't take a genius. He's a good journalist, well, one of the better ones.
 
Completely agree re Evra, and he's a far more able back up, for a whole multitude of reasons, than Buttner. Think we can get away with just 1 new CB though, provided we have 2 genuine options at RB.
 
I think Evra will stay, we're going to lack big figures in the dressing room next season with so many characterful players leaving.
