tuttomercatoweb have links with various agents. Imo 50m is juventus asking price.....which is high imo for a 27 year old.

£40m would be a fair price for one of the world's best midfielders moving to one of the world's biggest clubs.

We are in no position to be picky to be honest. In my opinion, he is the best midfielder in the world at moment along with Yaya Toure, worth every penny.

Find a target. Don't link him to us: "We should break the bank!". Link him to us "Ridiculous price, do not want."

And then you see her car

Not sure how to embed tweets on my iPad but Micah Richards just posted a [not very] cryptic message.

"Congrats to arsenal for the win today! A club who try do things the right way! arsene wenger the great !"

Emre Can would be a brilliant buy for the scousers if they get him... Superb talent, wouldn't mind him here tbh

Is this Tancredi the same one that's sometimes on ESPN? Seems a lot more 'normal' when he's on TV to be fair to him.

Are you referring to that fat guy with the ameircan accent and italian name ? no its not him

edit: Gabriel Marcotti on Press Pass

No I just had a quick search on Google and it's Tancredi that I'm thinking of. He's on ESPN/BT sometimes, my mate always has it on. Can't remember which channel but he was in the studio for some of the Bundesliga games I think.

I absolutely hate him. Another one who seems like he is going to choke on his own bile anytime now.
Marcotti? Yep, he's a bellend of the highest order. I've stopped listening to the Times podcast because of him.

Jamie Jackson: Apprentice of Howard Nurse.

If Juve sign Sanchez i'm pretty sure that will stop them buying Nani. There goes out Nani for Vidal swap ;)

How much are we allowed to release without the stock exchange knowing? How does the process work @ThanksBoss26 ?

I'm not too sure to be honest, but I think the gist of it is that for any significant appointment, i.e. signing/manager, it has to be 'officially' announced to the US stock exchange first before being made public, as part of the flotation on there. So I'm guessing the actual official announcement from the Club can only come on a weekday, when the US stock exchange is open.

I'm not 100% sure on this at all, it's just the bits I've read when Fergie retired and when we signed Mata.

not a tweet, but still:

Patrice Evra was in Turin on Friday to hold talks with Juventus and possibly undergo a medical, according to Italian paper La Stampa. The France left-back's Manchester United contract expires at the end of June, eight-and-a-half years after he moved to Old Trafford.

I think Evra said in the MEN recently that he'd announce his future within a fortnight of the end of the season, so I expect we'll know one way or the other this week. It looks like he's probably moving on. Might be why we've reportedly stepped up an interest in Sagna as he could cover left back if necessary. Hopefully, we might hear more on the Shaw move this week as well.

We are not allowed to release anything that will influence the stock-price. Hence we can not release Ashley Young today - as it would drive the stockprices up quite a bit :)

Yeah and then wrote about the fiery exchange between Jamie Jackson and Per Guardiola. Utter dick.

One of the Custis creatures did a similarly self-indulgent thing recently. Note to football journalists: you are not stars.

I'd be delighted if Evra stayed with us and was content with being a backup/mentor to Shaw. Not just because he'd be a good backup as when he is fresh he's a good player but also as it would just prove how much the little fella loves this club.
