Not as far as I've seen.Has anyone said that our bid for Shaw was rejected besides Jamie Jackson?
Strooting our stuff
I would rather pay the 37 for Carvalho to be fair.30 mil for an injured midfielder is probably a bit daft. You want to make sure the injury doesn't affect him adversely before splurging on him.

Completely different situation though, he got a pretty serious injury in March that was supposed to keep him out for like half a year and he's supposed to be back in August now. It's not like he had recurring problems before, more of an isolated situation. So would I. Didn't we buy Hargreaves when he was injured? Surely we learned our lesson.
Also he is in touch with Van Gaal so obviously discussions have hapeed before the bid.
Manchester United ready to offer £30m to sign Southampton's Luke Shaw http://gu.com/p/3p8q5/tw #mufc #sfc
I think it will be sorted out before the World Cup. I'm expecting an announcment in the upcoming weeks. This saga is going to drag all summer which will obviously end us with us not signing him.
I think Jamie knows what he is talking about to be fair.
On the Strootman rumour, 30 million is a bit much if true, especially considering he's not a key player for Roma really. Pjanic has been their best player this season along with Benatia, but then they also have De Rossi to hold the midfield together and Nainggolan who came in for Strootman and hasn't looked out of place at all.
Wouldn't mind it too much though, an all around midfielder like Strootman is what we need IMO, or at least 1 of the 2. We still need a creative one next to him.
