Not transfer related but I've just seen that. Someone from the MEN saying there was a big Utd story too.

*gasps* Rooney's out with fractured hair!

My thoughts too, if rooney is injured it would be breaking news everywhere, they wouldn't hold it back for the papers

Why are they quoting Moyes when Moyes didn't say that in his presser? They also posted this earlier.

Rooney has a toe injury. Seems like MEN already published an article but have taken it down.

Some of these tweets aren't showing up for me? They're just showing up as:

But others like the VDS one are displayed fine

Well that's stupid. Unless Irwin knows that we are going to do the higher value transfer second. And I doubt he would have said "2 times". Even Denis knows the word "twice" and it's meaning.

When did Irwin become such a transfer muppet?
I remember him making a few 'predictions' last summer which turned out to have some truth to it.

Pretty sure he will play against Bayern. Think the club is trying to give Bayern some "bad news" just before the game.

I don't think Bayern would give a shit one way or the other to be honest.

Welbeck fear factor .
For some reason, I think this description is pretty awesome. Moyes is learning the trade gradually.:) But somehow I don't fancy him using the word "deputise" LOL

"....but David Moyes believes he has the perfect man to deputise."

I think otherwise. Their players still have alot of respect of Man United. Maybe not individual players. 1999 at Camp Nou was too painful for them. I hope Ole can make the journey to show his face somewhere close to the dugout on Wednesday. LOL

Rooney needs resting for Newcastle.

Rooney is "injured".

Well played. I'll give Moyes that one.

 Welbeck "fear factor"? I really want to know which defender is sitting at home shaking at the fact that they have to face Welbeck tomorrow.

Worth remembering he's still a club ambassador and we've still got to shift season tickets.

The two that played in the last game probably wouldn't mock, given he could well have scored two goals after getting past them. Maybe Dante will fare better.

Seems like some kind of bizarrely over elaborate way of justifying resting him for Newcastle. Bit annoying really - we have close to no chance of progressing in Munich but we could easily get top 6, which I want in order for our European ranking when we next qualify for CL not to be utterly fecked, plus obviously the added perk of a qualifying spot for the winners. If we sign a load of good players in the summer we could take the fecker by storm.

A private message that accidentally went public?

In all fairness, Wayne can be very disappointing on big games like this. I think we'd miss Welbeck more than Rooney against Bayern on Wednesday.

Not sure how to do that from my phone sorry bro. Its not from anyone official but exciting to ponder.

Pretty sure, Welbeck made Martinez and Boateng piss their pants on more than one occassion in this first leg. You must have missed that game and many others United has played. Liverpool fan I would presume.
