Assuming we're interested in Fabregas, Woody will obviously want to keep any interest in him quiet so he doesn't get embarrassed even more than last summer, by losing out two summers on the trot. Barca will surely want rival clubs to know we are seirously interested in an attempt to drive the price up. Perhaps Barca are leaking the story through Marca, as who would suspect a story that benefits Barca would come from the Madrid friendly press?
...Or maybe I've been watching too much house of cards recently, which has got me carried away with how the press can be used and abused for certain agendas...
I would sell Rooney because we don't need him. LVG plays with one up front and RVP will be his main option. Rooney wouldn't be happy with a back up role.
