Just a couple of Van Gaal snippets so this page actually has tweets on

Didn't Jackson say Van Gaal had rejected the chance to sign Fabregas or something along those lines?

Last time chelsea signed someone mourinho did not want it turned out badly (shevchenko).

Because that would really be a selling point to Fabregas, "come to our club, let us just convince the manager first to consider you".

He changes his mind every day. He knows nothing more than us, and in the last few weeks has shown to be no more clued up than FootballAgent007 type accounts.

Ducker/ogden are the only knowledgable ones for united, all of the rest look for some efame to stroke their egos.

Everyone seems to be feeding off scraps atm, as Woodward seems to have taken them all off speed dial.

That's not true im afraid. In the Woodward era, Danny Taylor is the most trustworthy on Utd followed by Ian Ladyman. Ogden then follows, Ian Herbert not far behind.

Ducker is good but not in the league of the above 4.

They all come off with bullshit at times. Daniel Taylor's article about Cavani being a good example.

There is far more to that than you would think. You wouldnt believe how desperate Woodward is for a "marquee" signing.

I think Ogden, Ducker, Ladyman and Taylor are the ones being briefed the same stuff, at least I got the impression from the timing of their articles all reporting similar things. Taylor and Ogden have been tweeting about 'briefings' at OT quite a few times as well...

L'Equipe were reporting our interest in Cavani around Christmas time, as well as our broadsheets, and it's clear from the articles following obvious transfer briefings that Cavani was a target. Given that under Moyes, Van Persie likely to leave, as was Hernandez, and Welbeck was unhappy, his interest in Cavani would have made sense.

Just because things have changed does not make previous reports untrue.

Correct.

He seems to hate the Spanish so no real surprise. As I said earlier, I'd be amazed if Fabregas moves to Chelsea.

Spanish really hate him too. I dont think fabregas will make chelsea his priority either.

Apparently Fabregas was critical of Mourinho and his antics when Jose was at Madrid. It doesn't really come across as a great match.

I'm sure they're mature enough not to let past indiscretions get in the way of their professional relationship if Cesc sign for Chelsea. eg. Eto'o had a couple of rows vs Mourinho and Chelsea when he was at Barcelona but they got along fine at Internazionale.
