Agree with Tier 1 entirely and in the same order. (Though Oliver only lower because I don't think he can be purchased at this point in time)
Tier 2 though, the players are 28 and 29 respectively. Putting to one side Godins important goals over the last couple of weeks he isn't actually that great. Juanfran has been brilliant at times but I wonder if the investment in an older player is what we need at this time.
Unless I am mistaken the buyout clauses in the contracts in spain relate solely to domestic transfers and not to international transfers (something to do with taxes) hence why Javi Martinez bought himself out of his contract.
Turan is a player I do rate highly, but he and Januzaj would not be the paciest (is that a word?) options.
You misundertood the amount is tax free, if you want to pay the buy out clause you have to bring the money to the league and the taxes (+20%).
In Javi Martinez case's Bayern wanted to avoid paying the taxes by giving the money to the player but it was considered has a salary wich was taxable (? 40% ?).

Out of interest (I daren't post this on there) what is the point of the Tweets Only thread? Most people seem to post tweets on here because people like to discuss tweets. Having a thread where you can just post the tweets but no one can comment on them seems, well, weird.

This time of year there's about 10-15 duplicate threads. Each player we're linked to has tweets in and the tweets only thread is a discussion thread as well. I expect it's hard to police as so many of us muppets use the transfer forum

I am from Ludhiana (punjab,india) And its 40 degrees here. The world cup(matches start at 3.00 a.m.) timings are messed up . The world cup will be a pain in the ass to watch with work commitments(business aint going well either) and all that. We havent signed anyone and i was hoping a good united summer would help me divert my mind from the bitch who left me. So yeah its a shit summer. Things arent looking great either in the near future.

Cause last summer people were discussing tweets so much you'd have to go through 5 pages of text to find a tweet. The aim of the Tweets Only (when people actually post tweets there) is to just see whats being said on Twitter.
It was pretty good when it was active. If people (including myself) started to post tweets in here and there it would be good again.
