We were following Turan a few years back, he'd be an excellent signing for anyone.
As were liverpool I believe. Good player by all accounts. Can't believe that Athletico are going to roll over and let a load of their players go after winning the league and reaching the CL final though. We were following Turan a few years back, he'd be an excellent signing for anyone.

Yeah, Turan would be a lovely signing. He and Janujaz as wide players would give us creativity and pace out wide, with one of Kagawa, Mata or Rooney as the 10 and RVP or another up front.
The list of Atletico players I'd be looking at:
Tier 1
Koke - Offer whatever it takes. The next great world midfielder. I'd be
ecstatic if the only thing we did all summer was sign him.
Turan
Oliver Torres - Probably can't be signed, but he was one of the more impressive youth players I've seen when playing for the Spanish youth
Felipe Luis - If we don't get Shaw, nothing wrong with paying 15 for Felipe Luis, getting him a month after he turns 29 and having him be our starting LB for the next 3-4 years
Tier 2
Godin - Proper CB, would look good next to Smalling, Evans or Jones
Juanfran - He could compete with Rafael, but we're probably better off here just saving money and letting Varela do that.
Tier 3
Miranda - Less sure about him, but we need a CB and he's played well for years now
Gabi - Would cost more than he's likely worth at his age, but he's a solid CM who can do a bit of everything. Would certainly improve us.
Unless I am mistaken the buyout clauses in the contracts in spain relate solely to domestic transfers and not to international transfers (something to do with taxes) hence why Javi Martinez bought himself out of his contract.Don't all the Spanish players have buyout clauses as standard though? They may be powerless to stop them leaving
Turan is a player I do rate highly, but he and Januzaj would not be the paciest (is that a word?) options.Yeah, Turan would be a lovely signing. He and Janujaz as wide players would give us creativity and pace out wide, with one of Kagawa, Mata or Rooney as the 10 and RVP or another up front.

Fixed?Turan is a player I do rate highly, but he and Januzaj would not be the quickest(is that a word?) options.
Well lets come back after the wc
This time of year there's about 10-15 duplicate threads. Each player we're linked to has tweets in and the tweets only thread is a discussion thread as well. I expect it's hard to police as so many of us muppets use the transfer forumOut of interest (I daren't post this on there) what is the point of the Tweets Only thread? Most people seem to post tweets on here because people like to discuss tweets. Having a thread where you can just post the tweets but no one can comment on them seems, well, weird.
Paul go away.
Such a shit summer, we had briefed the media that 2 deals were done and will be announced before the world cup . We would also sign world class players. Well it seems edward is doing his negotiation training on fm. United are such a mess. Moyes was the worst appointment we could have made.

I am from Ludhiana (punjab, india) And its 40 degrees here. The world cup(matches start at 3.00 a.m.) timings are messed up . The world cup will be a pain in the ass to watch with work commitments(business aint going well either) and all that. We havent signed anyone and i was hoping a good united summer would help me divert my mind from the bitch who left me. So yeah its a shit summer. Things arent looking great either in the near future.Remember when it was the fantastic five? Maybe you could feel even worse about that. Do you live on the southern hemisphere? Because up north here summer isn't even halfway through.
Exactly, Moyes wins a few trophies there, guaranteed CL football every year. See what its like to be a winner and move on.
The journalists have no clue who's on Van Gaal's list and it eats them up. We'll be probably linked to 10 more players before official window start.
Woody's silenced like a mouse after that list arriving at United's headquarters. Ogden who's closely tied to Old Trafford with his sources got absolutely nothing despite earlier news about Shaw.
It's gonna be a ride when the curtains finally fall.

Sorry for acting like a whiney bitch, but i really feel "angry and confused". Rant over!
Fixed?
It certainly looks that way, I am guessing our interest in Shaw is still genuine, not sure about the likes of Kroos, Carvalho, etc.The journalists have no clue who's on Van Gaal's list and it eats them up. We'll be probably linked to 10 more players before official window start.

Cause last summer people were discussing tweets so much you'd have to go through 5 pages of text to find a tweet. The aim of the Tweets Only (when people actually post tweets there) is to just see whats being said on Twitter.Out of interest (I daren't post this on there) what is the point of the Tweets Only thread? I doubt that balls up was solely down to him. Anyway, at least he's not afraid to spend big.Would he actually be any good though?
Edit: I see he was at Liverpool when they Got Carroll, Downing etc.
Someone created a total informational blackout on everything what's involved with United's deals. We could probably announce some negotiations progress this week but I'm almost sure that's not going to happen. It certainly looks that way, I am guessing our interest in Shaw is still genuine, not sure about the likes of Kroos, Carvalho, etc.
You may not know him but he is followed by Ogden, Taylor and a few others.
It wouldn't surprise me if true. LvG has worked with a DoF at Ajax, Barca and Bayern so he is not alien to it.
Wait a second someone who failed at Anfield is suddenly good enough for United? This is some comedy cak. The way things are going I wouldn't be shocked if this were true either. Mad.

Would rather the club go for Godin than Miranda. He looks quality.
