Rojo hardly impressed me at the World Cup. Mediocrity club going for an average player. We have become Liverpool of 2010/2011.
can't see spurs selling Townsend to Southampton unless schneiderlin is involved in the deal
More like the Liverpool of 2014/15.Rojo hardly impressed me at the World Cup. Mediocrity club going for an average player. We have become Liverpool of 2010/2011.
Not signing player?
"Brilliant player, so gutted."
More than likely signing player?
"Not good enough. My uncles Spanish mate said he's shit!"
Yeh ! The good old jack of all trades but masters of none !At left back though. Forgive me, but I'm sick of all this adaptable bollocks - it's the reason Jones and Smalling have stalled.
Someone else signs player - "why weren't we in for him? Could definitely do a job here"Not signing player?
"Brilliant player, so gutted."
More than likely signing player?

Watching the Rojo interview, will translate it 100% accurate, with no names added in that are not there, and with no BS.
I don't think the only alternative to signing players who've had a good World Cup is signing players who had a bad World Cup. Besides, the saying relates to players who have come from absolutely nowhere to impress at a tournament.Yup.
Signing players who had a good world cup
"Always risky to sign players on a good WC"
Signing players who had a bad world cup
"Saw him in world cup, didn't impress. Shows how far we've fallen as a club"
Which centre-halves should we be signing exactly?Great so we are finally going to sign somebody and.....he is nowhere near the quality we need!!!!
You just know these same people would go mad at Woodward if he doesn't sign him, or at the Glazers if we sign no one. No pleasing some people.Stop being so fussy people.

don't take comments over here too seriously mate. Only time will tell if rojo will be a good signing if he signs for us after all.Great so we are finally going to sign somebody and.....he is nowhere near the quality we need!!!!
Was against this signing. I had seen him at the WC and in a few games previous and didn't like him very much.
What a welcoming lot we are. Welcome to OT Marcos, we think you are shit and didn't really want you but beggars can't be choosers. Poor lad.
Appreciated mate.
Right, that didn't seem to have anything to do with what you posted or what I replied though. You have missed the point I think. People are seemingly going off this deal because he isn't a big name player and without any reason. Sly the only one who watched him regularly rates him pretty highly.
Yawn./WUM
I was being sarcastic!
Here is Marcos Rojo's Lisbon Sporting TV full interview:
Disclaimer; It's not a WUM, I made it up completely, but I like it, and someone else might do too.
Rojo: I've called this interview to say sorry to all the Sporting fans for my actions last week. My actions were brought about because I have recieved an offer to go to play for Manchester United, Sporting is a massive club, but I believe I am ready to make the step up to the biggest club in the world.
I had a previous deal that I could be released for 15m Euros, but the new president said it wasn't contractually binding. I was advised by Doyen sports to go on strike, and I followed through with that in the hope it would mean I could leave.
I did not wish to disrespect the club, the owners, the fans or my teammates, but this move is a dream come true.
Inteviewer: Why have you made the choice to move to Manchester United?
Rojo: United is obviously the biggest club in the world, they have world class players, and a world class manager, the project they are building there has me interested, and I want to fulfil my dream of winning the Capital One Cup.
Interviewer: Have you recieved any assurances that Manchester United will be back in the Champions League next season?
Rojo: Yes! I have spoken to Angel Di Maria, and he told me he will see me in Manchester, to be joining the club with one of my fellow Argentines is a huge boost, not to mention the fact that United have a big Spanish presence already, and with the incoming arrival of Vidal that will soon be even stronger. Me, Di Maria, Vidal, Mata, Herrera, Chicharito, De Gea, it's going to be a Fiesta! Adios Sporting! En Vamos en Manchester.
