"Adidas is aware of the issue involving Luis Suarez. We await FIFA's full investigation into this matter and will respond accordingly.’’

They won't do anything. It's not like they'll drop him and let one of the best, most high profile players in the World go to Nike or some other company.

Garay for 15m EUR is a very good transfer. Wish we had gone for him if Hummels isn't available.

Let's be honest, if before the World Cup people would have said that Valencia would star for Ecuador then almost every football fan in Europe would have assumed the player being talked about was Manchester United's Antonio.

Few had even heard of Enner Valencia and that's no surprise given that the 25 year old plays for Pachuca who are in the Liga MX in Mexico. Enner also has limited experience internationally and he probably would have struggled to even get a work permit before the World Cup, but now he's very much a fully fledged international and star of his team.

JournalistJulio Maldonado, who works for Canal Plus, Cadena Ser, AS and others, has said that Arsenal have a serious interest in the player and that Arsene Wenger is personally 'loco' for him.

Enner Valencia is a striker and Arsenal could certainly do with adding some depth and quality in that area. He wouldn't cost a huge fee although his performances so far at the tournament will have convinced Pachuca they can ask a little more should clubs come calling.

He's beaten his namesake to be Ecuador's best player at the World Cup and the country still have a chance of progressing to the next round.

Enner Valencia has scored three goals at the World Cup so far and brought transfer attention on himself. A move to Europe will probably be what the player is aiming for.

Would love the Sanchez news to be true
I'm in two minds about this one. On one hand I'd love to have him here, obviously, but on the other hand it would mean dropping one of Januzaj, Mata and Rooney, and I'm sure neither of the latter two would enjoy being rotated much, and it could risk hindering Januzaj's progress, but then again he's still very young so he can still make healthy progress while being rotated for a season or two.

I'm all against this 'Rooney sold' stuff, I want him to become our highest goal scorer.
It won't change what I think about him, even if he does but I'd be fine if he stays and fights for his position and not sulk.

Man United's whole midfield created 62 chances last season, while Herrera created 54, just 8 less.

What do we think the probability of securing Sanchez? Would be an excellent signing.
