I'd much rather us keep Nani than sell him for £12m.
They've feck all else defence though, so they might as well try prevent their best player from being banned.

Talent-whise definately Muniain. Depay would be cheaper though.
I'm not 100% sold on Muniain. He bursted onto the scene 5 years ago (he was 16 at that time!) but hasn't made a huge leap forward yet. It's really hard to guess his true potential, even though he is just 21 still. I wouldn't gamble 30m on him, especially since we have other positions to sort out.

But I think we do need some additional backup on the LW, like we need another RW. Question is, do we blow another 25-30m on this player? I'd be surprised if we did as we really need to focus on strengthening our CM more. So either we're spending an obscene amount of money this Summer (which might be possible), or this story is bullshit.
Even if NYCFC offered half the Qatari club's deal, it would still be the more favourable option. Surely?

A fair bid IMO. I am not sure that he has started 12 times on the last couple of years.
He'd still have to get loaned out for a season, NYCFC won't start in the MLS till next year plus i doubt he's the type of player to be picking his next club based on locale and nightlife.. Seems more of the quiet type to me
£15m would be about right for me.
He once was a talented up and coming world class winger but suffered a huge dip in form and began to effect games less and less. He is a low centre of gravity player with a great touch and a bit of wit about him but he severely lacks strength and is not a match winner. Currently I would rate him as a couple of tiers below what Januzaj can do currently and hes 3 years older. Not to mention he will only come if we spend alot of money on his release clause which isolated is fine, but we could be using that money towards some world class additions.
We really need to be looking at Sanchez, Robben, James Rodriguez and Reus. If not them, Depay is worth the punt as is Griezmann.
