If no Vidal I doubt he'd be back up to Fletcher in midfield.
Good point but I don't want Blind to be the next major centre mid signing. Need to aim much higher than that to improve that team!

So why the hell did Nani come on ahead of others?

If we can't get better he should stay. Try the 4-3-3 with him.

I knew there'd be something on David Moyes the moment we lost our first game under the new management.
Indeed.

He dragged the Champions down to 7th and out of the Champions League. What's his idea of failure? Stupid fecking prick.
A few weeks ago he was saying that getting us to the 1/4 finals in the CL last season proves that he has shown he deserves to manage a CL club! Made my blood boil. After he failed to get us anywhere near CL qualification for the first time in ages.

Daily Mirror: drivel.

And even Liverpool did get Falcao, he's not got the play style to complement Coutinho/Sturridge/Sterling like Suarez did.

Dom King and Paul Joyce (both are fairly reliable) have also said today that we're still interested in doing a deal for him. Barrett, James Pearce and Ben Smith all said we wanted him a week or so ago, but we were told he was off to Madrid. If his move to Madrid doesn't materialise, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if we landed him.

You seriously don't mean that...

Not sure why Monaco would loan him out and if he was available for anything Liverpool can afford then Real will get him surely.

Can see others being interested as well.

So Nani, Anderson and Zaha out? Ok. That has been said a million times in the last three months, apparently we are as shit at selling players as we are at signing them.

Very true but it is Man United we talk big and usually buy small, unless overpaying for players in our own league which tends to be the norm for most clubs in the premiership.

What an absolute clown. Cant he find a football team in Siberia to manage so we don't have to hear from him anymore.

David moyes was our manager... jesus wept.

There was no fecking way United would have paid out close to 200 million on those two.

The Benatia stuff sounds like a load of wank...Rojo seems more plausible unless they are going after both. Its going to be a tough few weeks around here im afraid

I think we're after both. Whether we get both, or one, or neither, is probably the biggest issue.

It's hard to sell shite. We are masters of buying it though.

I hope he's good at Chess, cause Perez is a formidable opponent.

Didn't Real buy van Nistelrooy off us for £9m and pay it off over three years. Perez was in charge of Real back then. Ed has no chance!

Moyes should have delved into what working with Woodward was like.

But what went wrong at United? Why was it impossible? ‘I’ve tried to analyse it,’ he says. ‘I’ve been listening to Louis van Gaal and he has been saying similar things. For instance the fact that he wants to give every player an opportunity to show what they can do.

‘We tried to bring players in during the summer transfer window but they didn’t materialise. It certainly wasn’t for the lack of trying. It wasn’t indecision. The complete opposite.

‘It’s been well documented that we wanted Fabregas, Bale and Ronaldo. There was talk of Ronaldo when I first arrived. We were close to getting a couple of major names. I’m not getting in a blame game here but things just didn’t materialise. I had taken over from the most successful manager in history. The chief executive had taken over from one of the most renowned administrators in the game [David Gill]. So it was a new job for two people.’
