Didn't he bring Januzaj on at wing-back and played Nani in the front three when it wasn't working out for Hernandez? That's hardly negative.

Yep, a winger at LB in the back 4 (Young). 4-2-3-1 with Fellaini almost playing as second number 10. Januzaj and Nani further forward than the would have been in the 3-4-1-2. Very negative.

What is it with ex-players that become pundits? Do they suddenly become extremely thick, or do it to get attention? The things they come out with are pure bollocks.

NOICE! :D

Suddenly everybody saying we are after Blind. Why wait until now? we could have signed him days after Holland were knocked out of the WC, he could of had a pre season with us and got settled in. I understand deals for Di Maria, Vidal etc are more complicated but Blind should be a straight forward signing.

Seems odd he'd fly to Manchester just to open talks.

No idea if they've updated their news........ some others saying this too.

I'm watching Sky Sports News and they haven't said anything new that they didn't say x amount of hours ago when it first 'broke'

Well they actually said exactly what's in the tweet, that his representatives are on the way to Manchester, that tweet is nothing new it only confirms the story.

Ed Woodward: "So, Mr Benatia." Clears his throat from the strain of doing his best Agent Smith voice. "Your signing is inevitable." Dramatic pause and slowly raised eyebrow behind his sunglasses. "Is it not?"

Benatia: "No."

Ed Woodward: Gathers all paperwork together without making eye contact with Benatia. Files away the paperwork. Avoiding eye contact with Benatia still, he places one elbow on the table, and slowly takes off his sunglasses before placing them in his breastpocket. He then rubs his hand over his mouth before balling his hand into a fist. Shoulders rise as he begins to sob.

To be fair, I'm sure he's a better alternative than Ashley Young at left back.
Luke Shaw will be back in a month. Wouldn't spend £20m ish for a temp. Would be a decent back up for CM and LB but would he be happy with a back up role?

Liverpool getting one of the best strikers around is a very bad thing.

Chelsea, City and Arsenal are nailed on for Champions League spots. Liverpool with Falcao would be too, in my opinion.

I agree but hopefully it's bollocks.

Daily Mirror: drivel.

And even Liverpool did get Falcao, he's not got the play style to complement Coutinho/Sturridge/Sterling like Suarez did.

If no Vidal I doubt he'd be back up to Fletcher in midfield.
