Nani is a regular for Portugal, recently scored a goal for them and has over 70 caps. Hernandez too is an international and one of Mexico's top strikers. You think none of this matters? Hernandez is a dam fine player. United might sell for about €15m but the likes of Real would sell Hernandez for €40m if he was their player.
He's a player with literally nothing to his game other than his movement/finishing. He doesn't even start for Mexico anymore either.

What, I thought Friday was the deadline, or the Friday before that or the Monday before that. Now it's next Tuesday? They are clearly running out of days.
I was literally just going to post the same thing. When Tuesday comes and goes they will say Friday then next Monday etc.
Its so cringeworthy and total bollocks, anything to keep getting those clicks and re-tweets though.

Isn't that one of the most important attribute for an out and out striker? People here are talking as if he is one big lump or something and doesn't do shit for the team. He works hard running the lines and closing down people but of course its easy to ignore the hard work he puts in off the ball.

Precisely; as will Marotta will be for the sale of Vidal.

Allegri's comments mean bollocks all in the grand scheme of things.

That's your opinion but as another poster has pointed out, your using an example of an event while ignoring the fact that many clubs have said "not for sale" and that's exactly what has happened.

We've made no bid, consistently denied to the UK media any interest, and the player hasn't agitated for any move - why people think we are going to get this guy ill never know.

 Having another meltdown SolidShite?
Yeah, just fed up really, in fact im pretty angry at this point and its souring the star of the season. Weve seen it a thousand times. We NEVER get the players we need. Weve needed someone of his quality for years and yet when we want to offload a couple of players we scoff at the deal. This club is becoming a laughing stock how long can we ride off commercial deals. No matter how many times we say "were the biggest club in the world" it is simply not true. The biggest clubs have the best players. We have three players that would be considered world class Mata, Rooney and RVP.

Right to save my sanity Im just going to accept that Vidal is not coming to United. Every week we hear some bullshit quote, some bullshit rumour that weve offered this that and the other. All we have heard from United is we have made no contact for Vidal, Allegri has just said he is staying.

We clearly dont know our arses from our elbows once again with teams like Swansea making better signings than us. Perhaps we are happy being second fiddle in the league this year. Pretty fed up.

Really? Fabianski, Emnes, Gomis, Hanley and Sigurdsson are better than Herrera and Shaw? Have a word with yourself, you're overreacting massively.

 That adds value does it? I'm Portuguese, I watch Nani in the national team, you might have a case of getting a bit more for him if he had a decent World Cup but he didn't. Nothing but delusion if you think Nani's worth €20m now, he's barely played and when he has he's been shit.

Doesn't matter whether Chich is one of Mexico's top strikers or not, he's warming the bench for them at the minute. You're deluded if you think we'd get €40m for the two of them & no, Madrid clearly wouldn't get €40m for Hernandez but whatever. He's a good finisher but aside from that he's just an average player.

Of course some if it 'matters' but recent performances & wages also matter a lot me than their standings in the national team based on their form from3 years ago.

Aye, proper gutted we missed out on Fabianski & Emnes to Swansea. How terrible.

Agreed.

Am surprised we haven't seen more of Nick Powell. Hopefully he will be involved more this season. Give him an opportunity over Anderson in the first team and see if he takes it.

Swansea supporters would love to have Herrera and Shaw.

He has been injured, it seems. Gets injured at wrong times every time.

Was a great chance for Wilson and him and both missed pre season with the first team.

There have been rumours almost since he joined that he wasn't that happy there. Probably to do with the money they have to spend.
I don't think the owner is the easiest guy to deal with. If he has upset Pulis he is an idiot. A perma-tanned idiot.

We haven't even kicked off yet. Has he fallen out with the owner?

Often nothing in these. Heard a blokle on the radio from one of the big betting companies last year who said that any decent sized bet skews the market and sends the odds tumbling. Could just be someone having a punt.

Nani has also been injured and/or rank average for the last two years. Clubs dont pay big money for players who a) aren't rated or wanted by their current managers or b) used to be good.

Hernandez is a good finisher - nothing more, sadly and in modern football, where forwards usually need to be able to lead the line on their own if required that's not as valuable a commodity as it once was.

How much Shane long going for? How much did injury prone Rodwell go for?

Mata?

Doesn't mean they were worth what they want for and either way they both left for domestic teams. We'd get more for Hernandez if he joined a Prem team as opposed to him joining a foreign team.

Hernandez has excellent movement and has pace too. Combination of which along with his other attributes makes him almost a guaranteed goalscorer in decent teams.

That is a valuable commodity for any team.

Freaking Steven Fletcher went for 13 million pounds or something. How much did a Higuain go for? Plus he is a marketable asset as well.
