Anyone else get the inkling we'd rather have Di Maria than Vidal.
I personally would rather see Di Maria to be honestAnyone else get the inkling we'd rather have Di Maria than Vidal.

@sidlowe reporting on ESPN that Falcao will definitely sign for Real Madrid
feckI think Di Maria will be announced tomorrow.

I think I'll wake up to a blowjob.I think Di Maria will be announced tomorrow.
Based on anything or just a feeling?I think Di Maria will be announced tomorrow.
Really? Di Maria over arguably the best midfielder in the world who just so happens to be a player who plays in an area of the pitch that we actually need to add to?

I know he's banned but:
Anyone know if it's true?
That guy is a bit weird but he says we've been briefing the papers tonight so he thinks we must be confident deals are close.
Yes really, I rate Di Maria that high.Really? Di Maria over arguably the best midfielder in the world who just so happens to be a player who plays in an area of the pitch that we actually need to add to?
No pics he arrived in Wales had a quick look at the paperwork that had the offer on it, realised it wasn't prepared well enough so he hurried back to manchester to work on the bid.Right, we need pics of Woodward in Wales.

No need for any signs of him, we know where he is already.
I think we'd see him as the no. 10 or one of the strikers in the 3-5-2, but with the 4-3-3 an eventual implementation we could see him on the wing, as that's the position our manager acknowledged him in as a great player.Pretty sure we've established that if we signed the likes of Di Maria we wouldn't necessarily be playing 3-5-2 like we are now.
LvG is just utilising the existing bunch of players to their best ability. If Di Maria comes he will play in the same position he does for Madird, not as a wing back IMO.
Though you have to wonder, if LVG planned on signing a winger like Di Maria and playing 4-3-3, would he have really got the players used to playing 3-5-2?Pretty sure we've established that if we signed the likes of Di Maria we wouldn't necessarily be playing 3-5-2 like we are now.

I'd love to see us sign both but I don't think we have the pace in our attack. Di Maria would give us an attacking dimension that we currently don't have.Fair enough.
Not saying I'd complain if we signed di Maria but given a choice between the two it'd be Vidal all day long. What we've been crying out for and for me is the best midfielder in the world. Fits any system we go with too. Mata, Januzaj, Rooney, Van Persie, Kagawa, Welbeck etc etc. It's not like we're crying out for urgent additions in the attacking department (signing di Maria would be fantastic no doubt), whereas in the center of the midfield it's quite clear a world class signing would be massive.
We have enough number 10s already.I think we'd see him as the no. 10 or one of the strikers in the 3-5-2, but with the 4-3-3 an eventual implementation we could see him on the wing, as that's the position our manager acknowledged him in as a great player.
Obviously, but I'd still see no. 10 or striker as his position in the 3-5-2 formation. We have enough number 10s already.
