Blind and Rojo seem like quite similar players, both defensive-minded left-footed players who can cover CB, LB and LWB. Okay, Blind can play DM as well but still, I'd find it a bit odd if we bought both. Feels like things are beginning to brew, though, good to see.

As far as I am aware, Rojo only had a verbal agreement in place with the former Sporting director which allowed him to leave the club should an offer of 15 million Euros or more come in for him.
Now that there is a new director, he is not having any of it.
Hopefully our resident Sporting fan can shed some more light in to this however.

If we get Blind he'd be bought for DM as Rojo can play LCB/LB/LWB. Blind would lose half the reason were buying him IMO

I like blinds versatility, he can play lb as well so he'd be a solid buy for not too much £.
I am not sure if he is a alternate to Vidal or if LVG will get both, but I'm sure by next week we'll know more.
How so? I don't know what going on behind the scene but surely we ain't telling him to do that. Rojo did it by himself and it was really unprofessional, can't blame anyone.
Still disappointed if we don't sign quality player. The way our team threw the 2nd half for like first 20' was ridiculous. We need someone who can boss the field and tell our boys to man up.

He just has high standards. Because we have played brilliantly all the way through. Even today our passing was decent, just not enough tempo and cutting edge.
He's a former scout and was the sporting director at Monaco. His opinions are worth listening to.
