Wingback position requires plenty of energy and Alves has declined right now which is why Barca wanna replace him.
PL is hardly the place for Fullbacks/Wingbacks to have a resurgence or last leg either with extra tempo. He should go to Italy to have a Maicon type resurgence. Or similar to what Ashley Cole is trying to do in a slower tempo league.
Rafael, Valencia and then Young/Varela/Janko ought to be enough unless we find a real top class RWB and want a real upgrade.
