LvG's words have certainly sparked emotions this morning. He's so deadpan he's hard to read, but I'd be surprised and disappointed if we don't get in a CM and CB before the window closes, we have half a midfield and no experienced defensive cover at all, I don't care how clever LvG is we'll struggle to get top 4 as we are.

Did anyone expect Vidal to sign on a Sat/Sun? This has dragged on a while now. We will be lucky to get him for the start of the season, if at all. The pace of this transfer is like Mr Burns from The Simpsons throwing a bowling ball.
We expected Vidal to sign a month ago.
