To be fair he probably is too good for Arsenal. He is also too good for Liverpool though.
I think he'd prefer Atletico himself too, a far better team in a better league.
Hopefully a bidding war can get his price up to 15-20mil.

He needs to play for a club that provides as much assistance to him as possible; I'm sure that he would shine at a club like Atletico. The thing is that we haven't really played with an allout poacher in years, and now that LvG is the manager, it is even more unlikely. As for who is the better player between Welbeck and Chicharito, you have to take everything into account, all attributes, what can he bring the team, etc. In that sense, Welbeck is the better player for us. His technique, participation in build-up play, etc. are all better than Hernandez'. There shouldn't be doubt about that.
I like Chicharito, I do, but what he can offer us at the moment is very limited. I wish him luck elsewhere, hopefully Atletico - he'd fit perfectly in their tactic.

He could join Vidic at Inter, but then again he'd know the language in Spain.

He should not be happy to use him in cm. I rather we buy a central midfielder instead. Nevertheless, it is good to know that he believes the obvious......that he is a better number 10 than he is a central midfielder.
I never knew all this formation or #10 #8 is that complicated.. Sometimes I get lost with Van gaal's "philosophy" and all - maybe it's because my knowledge isn't great, but if he prefers 4-3-3 why not make it happen. Transfer window is still open - sell the one don't fit and replace them with the players which makes up his favourite formation. Which is tested and successful in premier league. I hope we don't end up on our ass with this new formation and "philosophy" talk.

Presumably he prefers the idea of getting the best out of our three best players in a different formation than possibly isolating two of them in 433. I don't blame him either - it'd be extremely difficult to bench either of the three, and each can offer so much to the team. Our wingers also leave a lot to be desired, which probably goes against the idea of 433. I'm sure we'll still switch to it a lot when we're behind in a match or failing to break a team down.
