First Rodgers with his geography comment, no actually before that it was Dalglish telling Wenger to piss off and now Gerrard with this.

Why the blatant disrespect?

How dare we bid for one of their players and sign a player who they wanted to sign. I honestly can't think of us doing anything over the years to Liverpool to warrant these kind of comments. We aren't rivals and I don't think I've ever heard Wenger or any of our players make any sort of disparaging remark about Liverpool, their managers or any of their players.

Whatever, Wenger's got 3 premier league medals sitting at home, 3 more than Gerrard will ever get.

EDIT:

Actually I remember Gerrard saying he told Suarez to stick around and wait for a bigger club to come around, like Barcelona or Real Madrid. I'm glad he got his wish.

It's Gerrard, the same guy who handed in a transfer request at Liverpool and now is playing the whole one player one club card. Seems like he is deluded like the rest of his fanbase.

Sanchez is the perfect example that Arsenal is regarded much higher than Liverpool at the moment.

I didn't post them! Just confirmed that they were you as I remember you mentioning your twitter account previously.

Hope that none of you reading this have been involved in what Malachians has said.

No, but it hasn't helped that a few people told him we blacklisted him. One of his tweets said the redcafe crowd are out, when he was getting abuse. When really he had a big disagreement with the fulltimesdevil host. I doubt people on here are sad enough to abuse him.

Now everyone seems to think people on these forums go around abusing him.

De Brun is just attention seeking. Just use the block option if you are so offended or report the tweet and get on.

Adnan is cool. He contributes to lot of discussions with his tweet posting and just because he labelled few people as idiots (me included probably) on twitter while trying to Brown nose De Brun hardly deserves retribution on here. Though it was funny getting caught out. :p

Anyway, getting back to transfer news -

Nothing. Adnan spoke to some journo/podcast guy who is banned from this thread, and told him that he was banned and gave some names. That's pretty much it. He's not banned, Damo has given him a quick spanking out of site and now..

We go again..

Vidal on?

The Chilean press that have been adamant about our interest in Vidal... what would be the UK equivalent of these papers?

Ah stop being so sensitive will ya..

Well they're pretty major media outlets in Chile. El Mercurio is a conservative broadsheet and the main newspaper in over there. If you want a parallel with the UK you'd say the Telegraph, the Times etc.

But the key point there is that they're in Chile. They don't have a line on what's going on at Juventus, or at United. Their source/s will be someone "close" to Vidal or to his agent. So you have to bear that in mind with regard to motives.

Sorry lads. I felt the exact same way. I had to pass it on, if only to share the sorrow.
Just when you've scored a goal and emotions are pouring out, you're flagged offside. Well atleast that football blog stays true to its name.

What makes you think that lad?
After the intense speculation regarding Vidal in Italy, Juve should get Vidal to announce he's committed to the club. So far they've failed to do that and from Marotta and Allegri' comments I suspect they want the player to ask for the move. I personally believe the player wants out.

So some players aren't playing on merit.

It's a Prospectus covering business risks.

United are ofcourse more popular in many countries when they have players from there and this is true of almost every country to different degrees. From Park in Korea to United's popularity in Norway being built along with Ole. Cheech in Mexico or even Januzaj in Albania had he represented them etc..

Doesn't mean that the players are playing because of that same reason though or it is even in Manager's thoughts that much. It is just the incidental risks/benefits for the business.
