Woodie's gonna be attacking it pretty soon.

It's not. If he was played regularly he'd be on the level of strikers that are just below Aguero and RvP.
I agree.

Unbelievable how much United and fans underestimate him just because he is not first choice! The guy is a star human!

I do watch the majority of United games as youse are on TV so often. Hernandez is extremely underrated on here and he's one of the best strikers in the league. United supporters are more partial to Welbeck due to the fact that he's Mancunian.
Quick question Barney, how many times have you stated this opinion before the rumours he may be be sold?

As does almost every non-United fan. I've never known another player more ludicrously over rated by opposition fans.
Chelsea fans don't. I know a few who actually hate him, just for the fact he had a thing for scoring so much against them. I didn't even know that was possible, he's such a likeable player.

I think some side overrate him, while others underrate him. I had a mate from Mexico and prior to the world cup, he told me that Oribe peralta and another striker(i believe named jiminez) should start ahead of Hernandez. Many people said that this was a crazy assumption(even some Mexican supporter here on redcafe), but come World cup, Hernandez was bench for Peralta and Mexico did well without him.

I believe Hernandez used to be the best poacher in football, but now he is trying to influence the game so much that he seems to have lost what made him such a good striker in his earlier career. Hopefully, wherever his future lies, he can find some kind of balance in his ability.

Just seen this :drool::drool:

I'm genuinely as happy at this as I was at any of the signing announcements we've had this summer. Relief. Gotta love Southampton.

As happy as when you signed Rickie Lambert..!? Pull the other one, dude.

I've always rated Hernandez very highly.
Fair enough, but you do realise how ineffective he is when he's a starter? He does all his damage from the bench and a great impact sub only..I wouldn't like to see him leave, but unless both parties are happy for him to continue to work from the bench, then it's probably best he moves on as our squad badly needs trimmed and rebalanced.

Hope it doesn't affect the Fellaini deal

It would affect it, but thankfully Sky Italia is a garbage source. So far we have reason to believe the Fellaini rumours, as they've been reported by Di Marzio and some of the more reliable English papers.

Oh dear! His allround game is nothing like theirs'. Just below RvP or Aguero are strikers like Cavani, Rooney or Costa! Hernandez' allround game is several levels below them and he doesn't score as many as them either when he starts.

There's a reason why SAF, LvG and now even Mexico use him as a sub (OK, LvG hasn't had much time with him, but whereas he can use Welbeck, Rooney and RvP differently due to their versatility, he really can't do the same with Hernandez. And Hernandez is nowhere near the level of RvP and Rooney to start ahead of them as a striker and has nowhere near Welbeck's attributes to start ahead of him on the wings).

Erm, Di Marzio works for Sky Italia.

Well then he's only one that's reliable there. It's weird because the news that he's reporting on his own are turning out to be true, but when Sky Italia report something, it's fecking bullshit.

Funny. Why would Suarez need to turn them down if Liverpool rejected their offer anyway if what was written about the whole fiasco was true? Those tears he were crying coming out of Melwood when he was told to stay tell me that he thought you were talking bollocks, Stevie.
