Evra is obviously leaving for Juve, so the longer it goes without an announcement from any party, the more suspicious it gets re him being tied up in a deal for Vidal.

If that's whats happening, then it'd make sense that the Evra announcement is stalling, Juventus giving themselves time to spend the money before receiving them in order to keep prices on a reasonable level.

Is he actually any good?

I've enjoyed watching him for Fiorentina whenever i've seen them play this season, offers speed, creativity and moments of pure magic.
Only major concern i have with him is that he never really impressed me with his defensive work (never really seemed to do any), but that could've been part of his role for the team more than him actually lacking the qualities to do so.

I only know the guy from that channel on YouTube and obviously not personally but he's always came across as a bit of a 'know it all' who's actually clueless in reality.

His bit there "we're owned by some horrible bastards" is just ridiculous, stupid and childish.

Certainly not someone I'd consider to have any wisdom about our club. Just seems like another one of those naive nobs who clapped Moyes all last season when he was destroying us.

He is a fecking drama queen..him and that other full time devils pratt get on my tits

IF these rumours are true, How can Daley Blind cost 17 million!...Janmaat went for 5 million and there's talks of De Vrij going to Lazio for 8! It really is true about clubs raising the price because we're Man United!

He's been exceptional for Ajax the past 2 seasons, was voted best player in the Eredivisie last season and had a very good WC, on top of that he recently signed a new contract.

They should just keep Lukaku, it doesn't make any sense.

Because keeping Lukaku would mean Mourinho admitting he made a mistake last year that probably cost them the title. As much as the muppets on here want to suck his cock, Mourinho's ego can be bloody costly

I doubt Blind would cost that much (More 10 to 14) but anyway those 2 players are defenders at Feyenoord (Who need to sell more, it seems.) who have shown potential.

While Blind is at Ajax and has been really good for 2 years in a Midfield role and was voted POTY last year. They are looking at what Strootman went for and increasing the fees in terms of out transfers from dutch league prices as well.

Depay is the other one who will go above 15 million probably if someone wants him from PSV.

I'd say it passed the suspicious mark a few weeks ago.

To be fair Juve did change their coach, so Evra might have stalled it for that reason before all that was sorted. As he is on vacation and would have to talk with the new one first.

He won't obviously want to go from United because he would be 2nd choice to be 2nd choice at Juve.

According to reports from GdS, he was never a Conte target and wasn't overly pleased with him. He was more the Chairman/whoever it is, (Marrota?) I doubt changing coaches is the hold-up.

LUKAKU

Could still hold it up from Evra's side, he agreed to go thinking it would be the same coach that won them three Scudettos on the bounce and looking to improve on it. But yeah, I agree in principal that given how everyone kept saying "announced tomorrow!", something else has been going on besides that.

Agree, but I would prefer we buy to strengthen each year, as long as we don't prevent giving the youth a chance.

Looking at Real, is Rodriquez going to be a improvement on Di Maria, not too sure. Is he good, definitely. Have Barca improved by getting rid of Sanchez and buying suarez, again not too sure. Look at the dross that the Scousers are buying, bigger squad, but not sure they are stronger than last year. I only see Arsenal as really improving, Chelsea somewhat. So spending doesn't always translate into improvements.

I'm with you on that, I'm even dubious of us buying any forward players this summer as we are keeping Kagawa and Welbeck and they will likely need games wide along with Januzaj and Mata, so to buy a wide player can be called unnecessary to a degree, much like buying Cavani would be stupid given it wouldn't make us any better. However I believe in quality over quantity, basically the opposite of what Liverpool are doing, if we can get van Gaal a couple more CM's and a CB as well as a LB cover I think we'd be in good shape.

Thats exactly what he was, the guys a fecking eejit watched that youtube channel towards the end of last season and i think it took right up until the city & liverpool defeats before he admitted Moyes had to go, then in the next video after the Villa match he was singing the Moyes song again the clown.

Good move for them, he will still get them a good amount of goals from the bench, plus it will be a massive lift for the team when he comes on.
Why hone the talents of a young striker who is more than capable of being second choice for your squad when you can resign a 36 year old, eh?

Good goal, but he just fell over & didnt have to move that much to be honest.

I thought Monaco signing him, was a massive draw-back to the days of their retirement home for good players back in the day policy.

After they sell Rodriguez & Falcao (possibly Moutinho too) this summer - i'd say the owners will try to find a buyer for the club.

There's feck all fans goin to games for starters & they cant generate the incomes to support buying big players. No-one's gonna go there now if they cant generate a football following. Their project has failed as far as i can see - unless they buy-off UEFA officials..

The French lads on here know everything when it comes to Monaco, so they're better qualified to talk about this than i am..
