The Vidal situation looks the same as when Bale moved to Real Madrid.

Let Juventus buy their players before confirming Vidal's transfer publicly.

Too many things point to it being on for me to let those "never in contact" rubbish dampen my muppet.

£17m for Daley Blind? Ridiculous.
Before world cup 5 million, after world cup 17 million. feck logic!
Also it sources the report of deportivo mundo a barca newspaper, i dont think there is even a iota of truth in this.

He was never available for 5 million.

Will cost atleast 10 + you'd imagine. He was Dutch league's POTY playing in midfield.

That story about Thiago being put in Atletico's camp to tap up their players is starting to seem more plausible as Chelsea are linked with so many from that team that they look like a feeder club.

If that Miranda story has any truth to it, that'll be the third key player they'll have taken from them in a single summer. That's ridiculous.

Was 6 million according to de telegraf newspaper in holland. I would believe them as they were first to report about van gaal to us.

I think you're right. Both clubs will deny the sale until Vidal returns from Holiday and Juve has bought his replacement and a few others. That's my take on the situation. We've been in contact with Juve for some time because of the Evra deal so it's only natural imo that we've probably built up a decent understanding and done a gentlemens agreement to disclose no information about bids or deals until Juve are happy.

FFS. If we have another season of this I'm going to be mad.
I'm sure van Gaal will manage Rafael to get him over any sorts of injury proneness and he'll play a large chunk of the games. I wouldn't be mad if Smalling got the odd game here and there.

It won't take LvG long to realise that Chris Smalling just isn't a right back

I would, he's a poor RB and will get unwarranted criticism by our fans for playing in a position he's rubbish at. He's a brilliant CB, keep him at CB ffs.

Van Gaal pretty much made it clear that the first team and his philosophy being taken on and adapted by them is the priority for now, and of course that means us being a CL team again as well.

The rest will come in time, but he'll not be messing round with anybody who he doesn't feel can do a job for the first team this season, so I can understand his straight talking with someone like Vermijl

Rafael picks up strains and knocks in game mostly bit like Evans. Not sure why you are sure Van Gaal can get him over that?

It might just come down to luck for him but he can be out for 2 months sort of any time.

He sure didn't pick up many under SAF's last season. People get carried away with these injuries. I'm almost certain he will feature in a large portion of our PL matches this season.
