I was hoping to return home to some good Vidal news, instead I get this disappointing shite and the next week or two will be taken up with boring pre-season games, oh well.

I laughed.
Is untypical a word? I thought atypical is the opposite of typical.

I'm questioning a journalist's grammar though so I'm more than likely wrong.

Ancelotti must be dying to keep Di Maria considering his contribution last year but is having Rodriquez forced upon him.

Tings? People who try and talk 'street' end up just looking a bit racist

General terrible shit from Mirror all round there, "Hatchet Van" and "all-conquering squad"? What the feck are they talking about.

That's Florentino Perez for you, he needs his new toy to play with.

Real Madrid's downfall will be pointlessly buying and selling players. Di Maria is good enough, there is no need to take the risk of replacing him with James.

Then again I didn't see the need for them to sell Ozil and buy Bale but that turned out well for them.

Maybe they think James offers more versatility being able to play left, central and right whereas Di Maria only out wide. Better link up play with Benzema.

di Maria was a perfect fit for Carlo last season. He has the engine and the pace to play in a central advanced position, complimenting Modric beside him and providing real legs for the anchor in Alonso. It also worked very well for Ronaldo, he'd drift as inward as possible and di Maria would occupy all that space on the wing.

He seems to be a good player but don't get these clubs who don't usually spend big money getting into a mad scramble to spend 30 million euros on him.

Might not have seen enough though.

Not seen him either but he's obviously made a huge impression for Verona last season and that's why the Italian giants want to sign him. Juve wanted him because Conte wanted to start using wingers in his system and now Roma have got their Lamela replacement.

Don't know about Juve's financial muscle but Roma certainly have money to spend.

I don't get the point in selling Powell and Cleverley. Get rid of Anderson and Fellaini first.

They've just picked out names from their arses basically to fit in as many as they can.

Particularly Cleverley, Powell and Zaha.

Powell and Zaha shouldn't be going anywhere until the "deader" dead wood has been shipped off. They still have a lot going for them anyway, and along with the likes of Kagawa might be put back on the right track under Van Gaal. Not that Powell's been on the wrong track at all, he was excellent for Wigan and should be looking at another loan deal to get regular Prem football.

In order of priority to ship out: Nani, Young, Anderson, Bebe, Fellaini, Cleverley, Fletcher.
