Peter Spencer is a City fan, probably doing it as a wind up.

I too echo those in support of Welbeck, and I wasn't always in that camp. I think with everyone fit and with current personnel considered, he is more valuable to the team than Rooney even, on the basis that I would argue we don't currently have a better option on the left, wheras we have better options in Rooney's two roles.

I'm on my phone so I can't post the tweet but apparently a rapper who is good friends with Vidal and has 500k followers has posted 'welcome to Manchester Vidal'

Edit: Nevermind, learnt it by trial and error! Lo:(

Sounds like someone is going to be reinvesting that money in a world class debt repayment plan.

Have that, haterz.

Despite my skepticism, this deal seems like it'll happen.

I don't doubt his passion for Chelsea or his devotion to Mourinho, but still seems odd Drogba is going on 37. It would be like us resigning Phil Neville who no doubt has a real passion for United but at that age is clearly past it.

Who knows could be a good signing for a year, but personally i think its a waste of time & resources.

Cant disagree with that man, but maybe Mourinho thinks bringin in Drogba will help Costa etc. It doesnt seem to be a forward-thinkin signing thats for sure, but there must be some method behind the madness..
