Is this actually happening? Seriously? Are we actually going to do it?

Or is it classic United Transfer Circus TimeTM again?

I don't think we can sell Rooney tbh. I also think Van Gaal is the type of manager and man that can get the best out of him again. You don't sell strikers who score 20 goals a season, it'd be madness imo and an unnecessary risk.

We won't sell Rooney but my point is really against all the Rooney & Welbeck haters, glad LvG is our manager and excited what he can do with our squad

Conflicting signals and reports everywhere.

Too much smoke for us not to be interested but doesn't seem we have made a bid yet.

 Such hatred for Danny. Check for yourself:

Swansea (A)
Liverpool (A)
Man City (A)
Aston Villa (A)
West Ham (H)
Hull (A)
Spurs (H)
Swansea (H)
Chelsea (A)
Norwich (H)

Those are the games he started as a CF last season. I hate biased bullshit posts like yours, made up negative bullshit. Face it, Danny is actually a decent player when played in his natural position.

So when the front 6 vs Villa (A) was Cleverley, Giggs, Valencia, Januzaj, Rooney, Welbeck he played up front but vs Everton with a front 6 of Fellani, Giggs, Kagawa, Valencia Rooney, Welbeck - he somehow didn't?
Add to that City (H), Southampton (A) plus the European matches. The 10 goals covers all competitions and he was certainly playing in an advanced position vs Bayern.

So it's 10 in 10 if we count the games he's scored in plus a few others randomly selected to make the numbers fit because 10 in 15 or whatever it is, whilst still impressive, doesn't look symmetrical.

What makes you say this Derek? Have the spirits spoken?

The spirits speak of a gigantic signing joining us. I believe this could be King Artur. I will have to still consult Sam though, he's on holiday right now.

Agreed mate. I don't like Rooney and his form over the past few seasons has been patchy at best, but you don't sell players like Rooney. Hernandez I think is a type of player who's simply too good to be 3rd/4th choice at United. He deserves to be playing regular football, while that also then gives more playing time for Welbeck and allows us to bring on Wilson. Everyone's happy.

Why would you count European games when we're looking at just Premier League? As for the PL fixtures you listed, he was LW in those games, not a CF.

CL games fyi, he was also LW and RW. Not a CF (just checked).

Mike Keegan tweeted that kit deal expected to be announced shortly. But it's not transfer related so..

Because he scored 9 goals domestically so we have to look at all competitions for '10 in 10' to even make sense

Get on his case guys...

You'd think with all the rumours going round Ducker would at least say something about Vidal, if he ends up confirming we're in talks then it's very much on. We don't seem to be linked with anyone else so maybe we might miraculously pull this one off.

The English press are not the ones to be listening too at the moment - Utd have closed ranks. Vidal news is going to come from Italian and Chilean press first. Ducker will say the same thing - we are interested and monitoring.

Ah, excel counted the 2 assists as goals. So it's 8 goals, 2 assists in 10 games started as a CF. Hardly shocking stats.

Agreed not shocking but I'd still not be happy having to rely on him as a talisman for any significant part of the season were anything to happen to the other two. Although accept it's unrealistic to have a 30 goal a season superstar 'in reserve'

All the indications suggest Mangala, it seems like it's pretty much done and City are holding up the deal for whatever reason. Vidal seems like there's a lot more work to be done, unless he knows something we don't...

So we're now agreed that we don't want Cavani, then?

I would. 8 goals in 10 games is very good for a 3rd striker. He brings a lot to the table when he starts and he'll improve with more games. I've never understood the stick Danny gets from United fans. He's a class player imo and deserves more games.
