Not with United. he was another who wanted Giggs to be manager and continue our tradition of British managers. Even certain United players Mata, De Gea, Kagawa his unfairly harsh on them because they aren't his vision of a United player.
I remember seeing a tweet from Gary calling Bayern's football " tippy tappy crap" when Real Madrid cut them apart. Now if united win the title under Van Gaal (a non British manager) playing 4-3-3 possession based football with minimal crosses, he might (stress the word might) accept united can be successful with out playing 4-4-2 with loads of crosses. I can't see him admitting it, it'd benefit him and united to see another way of playing football prove successful.

In some ways the worst thing to happen to Blackpool was promotion. Because their owner takes money from the club they didn't really reinvest and so ended up no better off, but with stupidly raised expectations. Of course the supporters wouldn't swap that season but at the end of it all they have to show for it is a club that looks to be in constant disarray, with little or no saleable assets and an almost certain relegation in the next couple of seasons.

Yeah thats pretty sad state of affairs alright..

Seems the club have been on one of the areas roller-coasters & someones pulled the plug leaving them stranded!

I can't find this SkyItalia story claiming PSG has Hijacked our move for di Maria

Doubt he'll admit that. He never criticised Moyes despite his countless mistakes so it'll be interesting to see when Van Gaal makes a mistake whether he'll ignore it.

Dough he'll ignore Van Gaal's shortcomings. This is a united manager with a massive reputation; one that's arguably bigger than Ferguson's European reputation.

???

Manchester to Turin return.

Interesting, does this guy have a connection to United? I ask because there were rumblings on twitter that we were holding talks for him today with the Evra deal being vital. However I wouldnt be surprised if he does have links to us, that its simply to check over the details for Evra and sign the papers, which could essentially be done in Manchester, if he is a lawyer for us it would be to make a contract offer to Juve.

And I'm afraid money talks!!!
Yes but agents play a huge part in where a player goes these days don't they? And its not like we have good relations with Mendes without paying him handsome sums too.

Haha, Metro have taken the word 'Marca' out of their Di Maria report and replaced it with 'Spanish reports'. Still nonsense, less checkable.

Bony + Lambert = Suarez

Scouse logic.
I don't think you can blame them. Players need to be wanting to go there. They did try for Sanchez who though not as good Suarez would have certainly been a quality signing.

You mean Woody hasn't called you to personally explain?

Wasn't it pretty obvious that the quote from Gary was fake? Who in the right frame would suggest that we need 7,8 or 9 players?

Also people like AlexShawESPN is shameful without researching a bit if someone would be that crazy to suggest 9 players.

But the quote wasn't saying that. It was only said that without 7-9 new players you can't talk about a revolution.

It's pretty amazing that people can't get the point. If he'd said "You can't call yourself a murderer without killing someone" he's not suggesting that you should go out and kill someone.

Yeah was thinking of the ITV WC Panel. However, the MOTD panel is god awful. Did you see how much Hansen is on per episode? Craziness. Insanely jealous of that turd. Imagine getting paid that much (or anything at all), to sit down and talk about what we do anyway on a Saturday night.
I can do without Alan Hansen, he is a bloody misery. After the Germany/Brazil game he went on and on about the defending. That is all he can talk about.

Opinions do change.

I think we need more of a rebuild now than I thought a year ago. I don't think we need 9 players though...
After winning the league we only needed a bit of tinkering. Moyes managed to destroy the confidence of a number of players and alienated the rest. The job is more complicated now.

There's alot of average players at the club & many have moved on, or retired too:

Vida - gone to Inter
Rio - gone, & to QPR most likely
Evra - could be off to Juve
Giggsy - retired
Young - useless & needs to leave the club
Nani - useless & needs to leave the club
Cleverely - not good enough & should be sold
Fellaini - long-ball target man & not United quality
Hernandez - not good enough
Smalling - not United quality
Anderson - such a waste of talent & needs to be sold

Thats alot of players that are either: gone, going or so shite that they should be gone..

Could arguably add Smalling and Kagawa to that list.
