I'm buzzing that Suarez is off. He's a cnut but absolutely world class. Decent summer this so far.

The cnut is going to cost more than Ronaldo?

27 year old aswell Scorpy - 28 in January..

Potentially, Suarez could only have 3 more years at the top of his game - bar injury, so if Barca dont win big in the next 3 seasons - the money wont have been well spent.

Its feckin rediculous they're not spending on top CB's again. Their Central Defence has always been their weak area & Puyol's gone now too, if memory serves?!

With Xavi & Iniesta showing poor form (by their own standards) throughout the season & at WC, they better hope Rakitic is really all that & a bag of chips, otherwise Real win clean up in La Liga. Its hard to imagine Athletico havin the season they just had too..

I know there's been a lot of talk that lack of CL football means Sanchez won't come here but does anyone else think that maybe if we really wanted him and LVG had a chance to speak to him he might change his mind?
There'll be huge wages on offer and one of the top managers in world football who has just had an excellent WC personally contacts you to tell you he wants you.

Yeah, after all their twitter trolling they lost 4-0.

Nice one Fletch - delighted for the pricks

I thought the Tweets were a good bitta banter, but also rather stupid too. Its hard to fathom the club's hierarchy sanctioning slaggin us off - but they obviously did..

United have a good history with lesser clubs of Aberystwyth's ilk - opening grounds & playin them to raise money for the clubs coffers etc..

I'd say that bus journey home to Wales, isnt as fun as it was on the way over

What are you guys talking about? I can't find any tweets from their timeline that slags us off. Did they delete them or am I being blind right now?

I dont think too many are surprised by this, if its true of course. He seems to be built in the same mould as Moyes & we need to stay clear of that shite.

Obviously the club were asked for an appraisal on "Philip" & from my own view - he shouldnt be anywhere near the club in a coaching capacity. He was part of a shambles of the backroom team last season. Giggsy was aswell, but its being well documented that Giggsy was completely fecked off with the training methods employed by Moyes & co...

If you're not up to the job - you shouldnt be there coaching finely tuned footballers..

And whats with Phil insisting on everyone calling him "Philip" now - thats bloody pretentious & cringey, do you not think? Seems he thinks he'll get more respect from folk by being referred to as "Philip" now

Andy Cole never asked to be called "Andrew", in case that gets mentioned. He was asked by a reporter amongst many reporters "What does your Mum call you?".. to which he answered "Andrew". Mums rarely abbreviate their childs first names - and most certainly never call them by their nicknames. Then all the reporters began referring to him as "Andrew" from there on.. He did an interview on MUTV explaining that & doesnt give a shit how folk refer to him as (its up to them) - Andy, Andrew, Coley - its all the same to him he said..

I think they're paying 20 million for Suarez and 70 million for the rights of his new bottle opener.

Me too,
I'd rate him as a 'best of the rest' kind of striker. Hes not on the same level as RVP, Rooney, Aguerro or Benzema say but he's probably the closest striker to that bracket imo.

What kind of player are liverpool looking for now anyway Barney?
He definitely is in that bracket. I bet most you haven't seen him enough. Good at everything and an excellent finisher.

I agree.

Arsenal choosing Sanchez instead?
