Highly doubt we'll sign Sanchez tbh, there's been no talk of Vidal for days and if we were gonna bid for him something would've come about by now. I'd rather wait next summer and go all out for Reus and pay €35m than pay €40-50m for Sanchez this summer! It's been said a few times we're outta the running for Sanchez because of no CL football to offer.

Fair point of course.. but he bigs himself up massively & the younger generation think he's some sort of Pool legend - he's not.

He still never fecks up about Pool in commentary too - its pretty pathetic & cringey..

Do players earn more if they play for a club in the CL? Like in terms of appearance fees, potential bonuses etc.? The cynic in me refuses to believe missing out on the competition for a year is that big a deal for them.

For anyone thats not familar with aul Jim's football commentary or analysis - i'll give you a short heads-up to what the useless ex-scouse bit-part player back in the day, goes on like:

I still don't know why Sanchez would choose Arsenal. Wenger has no ambition, hope his fine playing for 4th place every season.

No that wasn't true, also where would be play? Neymar is on the left and they've basically signed Suarez.
