I know we can't but I'd suggest we need a CB and one CM so signing a winger of Alexis class is doable and considering how bad ours currently he has I'd have thought it was high on LVG list.

Also that Manchester weather excuse makes me laugh.. it's not as if London has tropical weather 365 days a year.

Find the weather excuse inexplicable myself too, players are only here for a brief time after that they can go, and do what they want, plus on top of that they spend loads of time travelling with the squad, have 6-7 weeks off in the summer, plus Manchester, an Cheshire aint that bad! Almost forgot they are also playing for England's, and arguably the worlds biggest club, it's not so bad for them.

Personally would rather two midfielders, and a CB, then if we have anything left over a luxury winger would be great, for some reason a RB seems to be getting overlooked too.

Sanchez is good but plenty more fish in the sea.

I can't wait for the Champions League draw and Liverpool to be put in a group with Barca

So, I thought Liverpool were getting £150 mil according to some of their fans on here?

It's just an excuse and a poor one as well to be honest.

I think we'll sign another CM, who I haven't a clue and a CB.. that'll be all I reckon unless someone else comes available who we can't turn down.

Yeah.. 'worth more than Bale'. Best one 'he won't leave if we are in Champions League'

Agree we have to fill those two positions, if we do that well then we are set.

Think we could go for a young player too, hopefully that Depay kid will be given consideration.

@C'est Moi Cantona Maybe there is some truth to the Cuadrado rumour, we probably do need a winger, but maybe we want competition for Rafael too?

I you could be onto something there.

The total lack of proper competition for Rafael wouldn't be healthy especially with his injury record, sure as hell I don't want to see Smalling there again, Varela could step up but that's be a risk.

:lol::lol::lol:

You've misplaces your white text buddy.

  1. No he isn't.
  2. Nani on form is less likely to occur than Sanchez on form.

While I'm aware of his inconsistencies - if Nani can reproduce his 10/11 form, he's one of the best wingers in the world. He's been injured, and Moyesified since, and one of the injuries may have affected his brain, but if there's anyone who can bring out the best in him, it's van Gaal.

We just need one more central midfielder, and one central defender IMO.

Hopefully Fellaini has a good World Cup in the next games and some daft club bids £20m

How much will we realistically get for him? 15 million? I would be delighted with that.

It's happening guys, the rodent is finally fecking off.

Delightful news indeed on the horizon :) Even though the arrival of Costa under the instruction of Jose will keep the league's c unt level high, just the idea of Suarez not disgracing the league any more is a glorious thought.
