well played!I doubt Dortmund would sell him for 40m even. And you lot are stuck looking at the one poor season he had when Dortmund got to the final, he has been brilliant apart from that. Definitely doesn't make mistakes all the time, reads the game excellently, on the ball is as good as any center back currently. Also, it's not like lacking pace hurt Vidic... Sure it's a bonus, but when you read the game really well, you don't need it like for Kompany who reads it terribly, always charging out out of position and leading to him racing back.

Where did this come from, we need Evra in that dressing room. We can't lose Rio, Vidic and Evra in one window. We need his experience and I would be shocked if he left just after renewing his contract. The only reason would be a bargaining chip on the price of Vidal. They could wait one season and probably get him on a free, doesn't make sense this rumor.
