My thoughts exactly, perhaps Neymar is comfortable playing to the left of a front 3, but essentially they're all 3 of them similar types of player who excel in similar positions, last time Messi had fellow designated forward as partner it didn't work out too well.
It could perhaps work in a 4-2-3-1 with Neymar on the left, Messi as the no. 10, and Suarez up top. But I don't see Barcelona departing from their 4-3-3.

Hmmmm, Messi, Suarez, Neymar, Iniesta, Rakatic, Xavi all within a 11.

-------------------Busquets--------------------
---------Rakatic----------------Iniesta-------------
---------------------Messi--------------------------
--------------Suarez-------Neymar----------------------

Busquets is pretty much a 1 man defensive wall, the guys abilities in holding down the midfield on his own are insane, I'm sure he can cope by himself in La Liga matches, with some more defensive cover coming in during the champions league matches.

Real Madrid will also probably spend like Lunatics in the summer, most likely spenidng big a centre forward such as Falcao?

-------------------Alonso-----------Modric-------------------
----Bale--------------------Di Maria----------------Ronaldo--
----------------------------Falcao-------------------------------

Damm, I dunno what attack would be better out of Barca and Madrid, but I still hold the opinion that Bayern Munich have a better 11 than both of them.

---------------------------Lahm-----------------------
--------------------Thiago-------Kroos-----------------
---Robben----------------------------------------Ribery--
-------------------------Lewandowski------------------------

aha true that, I meant "one of". Time will tell though.

Spot on mate that's the key element. So many mock formations look great on paper but don't work out on the field. (Ronaldo Kaka Benzema; Raul Ronaldo Zidane Beckham Figo; Ronaldo Berbatov Rooney Tevez). As you said time will tell. :)

True, But Neymar still is a long way from his peak and Messi and Suarez can only get better. I really wonder what kind of system Barcelona are going to play to integrate all 3 within the starting 11? Who do you get the best out of? Who plays centrally? Who does more defensive work?.

Messi won't be getting any better than he was 2-3 years ago. He's already peaked.

A lot of players don't peak until they're 29/30, I think there is something wrong with Messi's health, he hasn't looked right all year. Sure he probably won't score 73 goals in a single season again(no one probably will) and he might lose a yard or two of pace, but his awareness, passing, vision, shooting, agility can all get better. There are plenty of ways in which Messi can become a better player than 2/3 years ago.

I'm mainly talking about how dominant he was back then. There's something about his explosiveness and the way he influenced games back then that he no longer has and will never regain. He is basically on his descent now.

I think people go way overboard with Evra being a leader. He's no Roy Keane or Neville.

No leader would leave so much space on their side and slowly jog back like they can't be arsed at times. It would be nice to keep him just to keep the pressure off Shaw. But if it means bringing Vidal, I'd let him go.

Spot on.

Evra has been the most overused and under rested player on our squad bar none since Heinze left the club. You only need to look at who his back ups (Silvestre, Fabio, Buttner) were to see how much of a workload he had to shoulder consistently for 10 seasons. I wouldn't necessarily fault him for his jadedness as I'd of the club not taking care of him well enough.

Instead, I will feel united fully utilize him over the years.
