From Juventus forum

my source who is alexis sanchez's cousin said vidal told sahcnez he has offers from chelsea and Man Utd but that if sanzhez joins Man Utd he will got there too

Probably BS but.. just maybe

Evra leaving .. If that happens we need to sign another LB. Evans isnt good enough out there, Young, Nani or Rafael should never play there. Tyler Blackett havent progressed enough to be a good enough backup should injury occur.

I'd like us to sign Blind.

Hey guys, Vermaelen can play back-up LB if Evra leaves... :nervous:

This thread has come alive all the sudden. I don't mind including Evra in the deal for Vidal.

I think we'll sing Blind anyway. Fills a lot of holes in our squad with his versatility. When it comes to the Dutch players, we'll have to wait for Van Gaal to come off world cup duty because he's not allowing his players to negotiate transfers while at the world cup.

I do. We would have no leaders in the dressing room, and that's asking for trouble inn such a highly transitional period for the club. Rooney and van Persie combined could probably make one, but neither are true leaders in the sense that Evra is - teaching the youth, giving half time team talks, etc etc...

We would still have Giggs and and now Van Gaal. On the pitch, Rooney and RVP should be more than enough, add an experienced defender and we should be just fine. Once Vidal settles in, he would be good leader too. Right now it's all about improving the team, if it means Evra then we should do it.

That's what the manager's for. I love Evra, but if him going to Juve brings Vidal here I'd pack his bag for him, and pack Nani in it.

We might be able to knock down about £15m for those two, worth it I say.

It is a little different coming from your manager than coming from your squad captain though; a bit like say a mate at school and your teacher. Giggs does add something extra though, I can agree with that. So perhaps we could get away with it, and providing one of Rooney/van Persie truly step it up as a leader we could be all dandy. I just feel that Patrice is such a powerful influence on a lot of those players, he's just such a charismatic leader.
However... If he is necessary for any kind of deal regarding Vidal, I'd let him go.

I think people go way overboard with Evra being a leader. He's no Roy Keane or Neville.

No leader would leave so much space on their side and slowly jog back like they can't be arsed at times. It would be nice to keep him just to keep the pressure off Shaw. But if it means bringing Vidal, I'd let him go.

Nah, Evra's essentially our captain and has been the past couple of seasons. He's a leader and a legend, without doubt.

The whole "if he was a leader he wouldn't be doing so shite" is a bit unfair considering he just can't keep at the highest level for a whole season anymore. He is definitely still capable, but he can't do it alone. Remember, this guy has been bionic for us. Literally played LB for a good 6 or 7 years with virtually no cover nor rest - it was bound to catch up with him. Anyway, that's neither here nor there. Back to tweets.

Why do people post the tweet and then post the tweets text?

It's just taken me twice as long to read this as it needed to.

Serious response, it's not just the recent feck up of them not showing, it's for people who have content filters where they work that can't see them.

Not only that, but if a tweet is deleted we still have the copy/pasted text.

My God, (I Know everyone on here hates Suarez) But they are going to possibly have (On Paper) the best attacking trio the world has ever seen. Messi, Suarez, Neymar.

:nono:

Best, Charlton, Law.
Di Stefano, Puskas, Kopa.

True, But Neymar still is a long way from his peak and Messi and Suarez can only get better. I really wonder what kind of system Barcelona are going to play to integrate all 3 within the starting 11? Who do you get the best out of? Who plays centrally? Who does more defensive work?.

All three need to play centrally in my opinion, good luck to Luis Enrique!

My thoughts exactly, perhaps Neymar is comfortable playing to the left of a front 3, but essentially they're all 3 of them similar types of player who excel in similar positions, last time Messi had fellow designated forward as partner it didn't work out too well.

The current Argentina diamond-ish setup might actually work for Barcelona.

Messi = Messi (will have to sacrifice the most and he might not be willing).
Aguero/ Lavezzi = Neymar.
Higuain = Suarez.

-----------------Neymar-----------------Suarez----------------------

Ronaldo, Bale, Falcao (if it happens) would probably be pretty good too. Add Rodriguez to that...

Falcao

Ronaldo Rodriguez Bale
Probably a bit too attacking.
