Regarding Tweets:

There's some sort of problem with Twitter media displaying - some do, some don't and we believe its an issue on Twitter's (not Red Cafe's) end. See this thread in the admin forum - https://www.redcafe.net/threads/tweets-rarely-show-up-anymore.392892/

Until this is resolved, please post the Tweet and a brief text description of what it says in case users can't see the Tweet itself.

Pretty sure it's Twitter lad and not the Caf.

It's been happening on a music forum I'm on

Beyond the Suarez issue, I get a weird feeling Liverpool are going to slide backwards next year.

Yep, they peaked last season and Stevie G let it slip away. They won't bring any surprises to the table next season.

Fecking fed up of Real Madrid getting steals. Bastards. Hope they have to pay through the hole for Kroos.

Don't understand why most clubs don't take them for a ride when they come calling for their players.

Because most clubs feel privileged that the great Real Madrid come knocking for their players that they pull down their trousers and *** whilst pushing them into the Bernebau......

fecking sickening.

He was a big big reason for their good season last year. Rodgers has got good system in place and it wasn't one man team scenario, but others were support cast. If they don't get a top name to replace him if he goes then they will struggle. It is a young squad and they have additional CL games to worry about this season. Interesting to see how it goes for them.

Once the World Cup is over the amount of tweets and transfer stories is going to be ludicrous.
We've been linked with every player possible, it'll be just the same old recycled news trying to guess who we're after.

When they hear about this on RAWK they're going to go ballistic

I believe we had our big signings in ( Herrera/Shaw). Next we will have one or two Dutch players, that's all.
Unfortunately for us Madrid/Barca/maybe Bayern are looking for midfielders aswell which gives us no chance to get the likes of Vidal/Kroos etc.

L'Equipe say that despite Arsenal tapping up Debuchy, he hasn't committed to joining them.

Haven't checked this yet:

Manchester United are willing to break the bank and offer Arturo Vidal £250,000-a-week in wages. [Independent]

Sport said on Sunday that both Manchester United and Chelsea are close to signing Khedira. Just €20m.

What was ridiculous is that people were moaning about transfers even though there was two months to go. These moaners polluted most of the threads with their drivel In the summer.

Yep, and at the time hardly any of our rivals had made signings apart from a couple of deals which were a case of activating release clause.

Hardly any club would agree to sell a player before a World Cup if they can help it - especially if the player is a 'world class' talent, as they know that there's a chance the player's value could increase if they have a good one - a la Sanchez.

If we look at how the Herrera deal played out, we knew nothing until he was virtually about to fly to Manchester to complete the deal. All these transfer sagas that are splashed all over front or back pages of the foreign press proclaiming one side or another is 'leading the race', need to be taken with a huge handful of salt.

Yep. Shaw one was similar. We knew we had been after Shaw for ages but stuff in the papers died down the last few weeks while Shaw was in Brazil, then we found out that deal was being done just before it was completed.

Centre-back next on Van Gaal's United wish-list http://bit.ly/1nYW3FK

Of course, in his opening line when he states: "The Reds spent more than £60m last week...", what he actually means is "spent less than £60m last week..." - but I'm sure that is in no way indicative of the accuracy of the rest of his article

Not sure if it's appropriate, but just a little request. Can the poster who post up a twitter includes the text of it as well and put it below the post? Makes easy viewing for those surfing from mobile as most of the tweets do not show up for whatever reason

This would be a useful rule to put in the guidelines, since we already have a blacklist.

Really?

Strange man!

Regardless, this is a twitter discussion thread, so I will say no more on the subject.
I was giving an opinion on why people don't like to see us denigrated in comparison to Chelsea.

Thank God for that.

No bids from Manchester United or Liverpool as far as I know, but they're the other PL clubs interested on Alexis Sánchez.

Stahp. You'll put @RedBistro out of his job. :D

Arsenal were the first to ask Barcelona about the possibility of selling Alexis Sánchez back in the final weeks of May.

Arsenal has submitted a bid for Alexis Sánchez, Barcelona are open to negotiations but are yet to respond.
