Pep doesn't rate Martinez, and Martinez is already getting poorly treated. Vidal coming in with Thiago back to full health reduces his chance to play unless he gets the occasional CB or injury/suspension game.

There's no way he'll be happy with that for another season.

I think both he and Schweinsteiger are going to get itchy feet if Pep keeps buying midfielders.

None of that first sentence is actually true.
 
So Pep doesn't rate Martinez the player he tried to sign at Barca. And doesn't think Schweinsteiger passes the ball faster.

Yeah ok.
 
Pep loves Martinez. He's going nowhere.

Pep rates Martinez but as a central defender not a defensive midfielder.
 
Bayern are becoming just like Madrid, snapping up good players just for the sake of it, stopping other teams which require the player a lot more
 
Seems my post wasn't clear enough.

Martinez wants to play in midfield, not at the back.

Pep does not rate Martinez as a midfielder, but doesn't mind him playing out of the back.

He also wanted to sign Martinez as a CB at Barca, not a midfielder.
 


He's looked a bit shit at Newcastle but whenever I've seen him for France he seems to play well.

I'm quite glad to be honest because losing very talented players to clubs like Chelsea because we haggled over a few million is so frustrating, however, new era and all that so let's see what our Ed is made of!

I wouldnt be so sure of that, I could see LVG stockpiling options in the middle, it would be amazing to know that if Strootman crocks out than Carvalho could come in.

I am stunned with the amount of talent they were prepared to part with. I know big sums were involved and you cannot hold players back, but it is still a surprise.

That guy is definitely a wum. Contacting Benfica over Maxi Pereira? He isn´t even one of the best in the portuguese league, he has no business in the Premier league. Only if it´s to confort Suarez. He´s a complete hack, the uruguyan Danny Mills.

Getting steals? They actually do pay over the top to get what they want unlike say Barca.
 


Reporting in Holland on De Vrij to Manchester United seems to all say 'According to Daily Mail/Mail on Sunday...'
