fecking tabloid morons.

If you're going to spin utter shit at least make it exciting.

feck me

Any last bit of credibility the Mail had, has just been torn to shreds.

Van Gaal loves Kuyt so much he's a bench player for him in Holland, but he'll actually bring him to a club when he has far more options he can sign. Yeah...

#LFC will make a move for Dejan Lovren who will cost more than £15m. (Telegraph)

Spurs and Arse also apparently interested.

Good signing for you if you pull it off, especially at that price. Southampton need to spend this money wisely next season though, can't see how they're gonna replace all these on their way out.

They always are. I am very convinced that they don't have a scouting network but only look at Liverpool targets and then go for them. At-least in the last 2 years it looked to me that it has been in that way, with them getting interested in almost every player you wanted to sign. Funny thing is that on some for them they succeded (like Dempsey) but you found better players to go instead.

This one probably comes from Pochettino going from Southampton to Spurs I imagine. Wouldn't be surprised if there's something in it.

... and floppy ...

How can you be floppy when we are about to sign Kuyt

At the moment it would seem our strongest linked targets are: De Jong, De Vrij, Sanchez and Vidal.

What a lethal squad we'd have if we pulled that off!

Then again Herrera came out of nowhere. We could end up signing the 2 least discussed players.

We've had 2 very different transfers so far this summer.

Shaw: Season ends, Manchester United have bid £27m for Luke Shaw, deal to be wrapped up before WC, Then the manager change stalled it, and he ended up joining later than expected, but we pretty much knew he was coming.

Herrera: Tuesday, reports from Cadena Ser that a deal was imminent, rumour spreads fast, Reports he was in England Tuesday, medical done, etc. Thursday we're told by the guy at Cadena Ser (Inigo Markinez) that it would be solved in hours and boom! 2 days after the rumour, the deal is done.

Could have some very out of the blue signings, or very public ones going solely on those 2.

Signing James Rodriguez was such an obvious buy at the time. Everyone knew he was world class.

I don't think he would have wanted to sign here had we bid for him. He(like Falcao) wanted to play in one of the big 2 from Spain. He took the Falcao route and signed with Monaco. He'll be in Spain eventually. Falcao will be at R Madrid next season and James will play one more season at Monaco before making the switch.

There was a time during the 2012-13 season that I thought James to United was a sure thing.

This Adam Crafton fella annoys me.

Think I recall him being 19 and a student on his twitter bio. He's the worst Mail reporter at just creating articles based on idle speculation. I understand he wants to build himself upwards but he gets too caught up with reporting rumours.

The Daily Fail are linking us to every possible player, they might as bet on every existing professional footballer, hoping to get one right! lol
