I was only responding to tweets saying we are one of three clubs linked to Sanchez. It's not like I commented on the David Luiz goal.

so i can go on a four page rant about sanchez in here because there was once a tweet about him? switch your brain on and move to the sanchez thread.

we tend to be rubbish at selling players normally, so that's alright.

He wasn't that bad, just pointlessly average.

If we've given stick to Woodward for being shit at buying players (up until last week that is), one cannot doubt his ability to sell. He made Chevrolet pay so much for our shirt that they fired the guy that made the deal with ol' Woody up at Chevy! £657m - I still laugh when I hear that.

Sure that whats happening in this thread. Sure there are barely any tweets anymore. No need to be so uptight.

There almost a equal amount of risk joining for Liverpool as there would be in joining United. If United are going to get top 4 there it's most likely be knocking Liverpool out(let's face it Arsenal are always going to get top 4)so while Pool have CL now next year is no guarantee.Add to that their going to be selling their best player(Although it's going to be a massive amount)a defence that's piss poor. So the reasons to join Pool instead of United isn't exactly clear.

Although at the moment it's looking bright at United there's still a chance at blow up in faces.
Best case scenario is that the dippers get stuck with Ratboy...In fact I don't want him to leave, I want to see what he does next! First murder on the football pitch by a fellow professional? (Obviously I don't want anyone to get murdered)

Surely for that to happen, Sanchez would have to want to go to Liverpool? I'm pretty sure he can get a much better gig somewhere else in Europe.
Wherever he goes as long as it ain't Liverpool or Arsenal I'll be very happy.

Who is actually going to remain at Southampton? Out of their best players, probably just Rodriguez and even he has been linked with Spurs lately.

Failing to acquire Lars Bender, Schneiderlin would be a really good signing for Arsenal TBF. At times their midfield has lacked a bit of defensive box to box dynamism with Arteta slowing down considerably. Schneiderlin + Ramsey/ Wilshere would be a good mixture of pressing ability, energy, pace, creativity and technical prowess. He's at a really good age too with plenty of room to develop further. 15-20 million would be a good piece of business. Not a great player yet but he's only young. IMO he gets a bit underrated playing for Southampton, much like Cabaye at Newcastle - who's flourishing for PSG and France now.

In what way isn't he a great signing?? :wenger:

He's a quality CM who's extremely underrated.... did you watch the PL last season??
Schneiderlin - Ramsey as a pairing will be one of the best in the league.

Schneiderlin strikes me as a standard Wenger signing. Sanchez... not so much.

Schneiderlin would be a very good signing. Would be happy with him at United.

Maybe but great is stretching it.

Exactly.

Arturo Vidal would be a great signing. Alexis Sanchez would be a great signing. Bastian Schweinsteiger would be a great signing.

Morgan Schneiderlin would be a good signing.

Exactly.

A player doesn't have to be a world beater to be a great signing, the individual quality isn't everything. If he fits well into the team and does exactly what they require him to then he'll be a great signing for them.

Exactly.

Depends who it is for, how they perform and what is paid.

Schneiderlin might not be a great player, but he can be a great signing for Arsenal, and i think he will be seeing as they lack another defensive midfielder to rotate/take Flamini's position.
Arteta and Flamini both are starting to get old as well, so they will need players in the position very soon.

Its not him as an individual, it's the fact he'd be such a good fit. He'd compliment Ramsey so well and act as a great agile and mobile screen in front of the back four.

Exactly.

Depends on what he brings to the team, Berbatov, Veron, Anderson all great signings that flopped for us. Truth is you don't know how good he is going to be until he's in the team, some off our best signings have been our cheapest.
