Lots of reports around twitter saying that LVG doesn't want to sign Di Maria because it will harm Januzaj's development.

No it won't. Januzaj can learn from Di Maria as well. Also if we sell/get rid of Young miraculously then we are short two wingers.

If it really would harm Januzaj's development, I wouldn't sign him.

But I'm sure the two of them can both play their part.

That's some high-grade BS right there. Word of advice, Twitter is a stat machine. Don't bother reading into the majority of the tripe there. Only look for well known journalists who have credibility and track-record of good work.

It will save everyone a lot of time and worry.

If that is the case, Januzaj will have to become world class to justify it. No pressure Adnan. He will also have to play him. Of course it could just be the excuse they churn out as they don't want to spend the money.

It's just twitter nonsense. Januzaj isn't going to play on both wings at the same time when he plays.

I don't agree with it at all. I do hope Januzaj is one of the first names on the team sheet this season and I can't see that with a 3-5-2. A 4-3-3 with Januzaj and Di Maria on either wings would be brilliant.

So wait. Two weeks ago, all Britain's papers were 1000 per cent sure Hernandez was going to be sold. They had him in a list of seven players, shockingly including Rafael that were definitely going.

But now Hernandez is listed as one reason why Welbeck is going to leave? How can we take this stuff seriously when the stories change so often?

They better hadn't do this to us.

Given the add-ons in the Anderson deal were likely based on winning leagues and the CL who actually cares?
While I'm not bothered really as he was a
Talent at the time with all the potential in the world, was Fernando Torres for 50m a good buy for Chelsea because of his goal vs barca and them winning the champions league? Slippery slope argument that

So now we're using relatives' Instagram likes as a source? Deary me.

Yes, it is now the go to source for transfer news, didn't you know?

Shaw started following United players > He Joined.
Rojo started following United players > He joined.
Di Maria's wife favourites images on instagram of Di Maria and Rojo together with a United badge in the background > Done dealio.

Instagram has easily outperformed Twitter when it comes to credibility so this might be a good sign.
Christ alive. I think it's time to hand in my muppet badge if this is what we've come to. I'm not cut out for the new depths we're scraping.

We better noy let Danny leave. pathetic decision.

Ofcourse, you can make arguments for and against it. Success tends to cancel out bad buys, you think people would laugh at Andy Carroll's fee if he scored league title winning goal?.......alright we probably still would but you get my point, if teams are winning the fans rarely give a shit how much a player might have been overpaid for. On the face of it its not been a great deal for Man Utd, but as a Man Utd fan I don't care given we won multiple league titles and a European Cup in that time span.

If we were to sign Di Maria and keep Young, then I think we'll get rid of Welbeck as there's no where to play him. Unless we get rid of Kagawa and rotate Januzaj, Welbeck and Mata as the no.10.
