Nor does it mean that every outlet who has gotten one or two things wrong is the Daily Express!
They're horrible when it comes to transfer rumors mate. Get an huge amount of things wrong.

Journalists find their words can be twisted? Don't make me laugh you jumped up little twat

It's the fecking journals who twist everything around to make a story up that they think people might read, or just make things up completely.

I really think this Mitten guy is just as much a bullshitter as everyone else, despite some people suggesting he might be reliable.

Ridiculous, Borussia has become Bayern's feeder club.

Inevitable really. The players seem hesitant to move Out of Germany, Bayern are ridiculously good, can offer top wages and form the core of the NT team.

This is a Man Utd forum. I am fed up of time wasting people posting other people laughing at us. Please only post Man Utd sources regarding transfers.

I was sarcastic, man.

I do still believe in Jones and Smalling and think they will come good. I just don't think they are good enough yet to compensate for the absolute crapfest that has been our midfield for years. That was what Rio and Vidic provided - even when it was just one of them, they were able to help their partners (including Evans) raise their respective games. This benefitted DDG too, especially as he likes to stay on his line and rely on the defenders to do more of the clean-up work.
Really late to this, but just want to point out that it was NOT a case of Rio & Vidic helping the others raise their games. When we played one of Rio/Vidic and one of Smalling/Evans/Jones in central defence last season, we conceded almost twice as many goals and lost over twice as many games as we did when we didn't play Rio/Vidic at all.

Rio & Vidic conceded 0.89 goals per game as a combo, when neither of them were playing we conceded 0.82 goals per game, when only one of them played (alongside one of S/E/J) we conceded 1.45 goals per game. The W/D/L ratio for games without Rio & Vidic was 8/1/2, far better than the 10/6/11 when Rio and/or Vidic were present.

Not really. When a player has a release clause, you've got to expect this sort of thing to happen. It's there for anybody to activate. Bayern is perfectly entitled to activate it. Put anti Bayern clauses in their contracts if you can. Or don't have release/buyout clauses in your players contracts.
Then I guess they just wait for them to expire, like Lewa

Bayern making low ball bids  I can imagine the outrage if we bid that amount

I'm not doubting you, but I would assume that the games that Rio or Vidic were playing in were a bit/lot more difficult that the ones Smalling, Jones and Evans played in (not that I doubt the ability of those 3 players)

I thought Bayern just goes out and quickly makes a deal.
"proper clubs " never buy late in the window, and always pay whatever the selling club wants straight away.

Or so I've read on this thread.

What is Klopp doing with those guys for them to so easily join the bitter rival?
Gotze had his release clause activated, Reus probably will. Not much Klopp can do about that. It's Dortmund's fault for putting release clauses in their players contracts.

The amount of times I refreshed this thread this summer.... must be in excess of 2000 times.

Doesn't matter, they still have to want to go there. Lewandowski went on a free. Guess it's just different in Germany, it's not that strong rivalry.

It's still up to the players, and to stick it to your own fans by going to your rivals? Gotze and Lewa knew this and had lots of options despite the release clause.
