@LFCZA: Marcotti: "I'm not sure Monaco can afford to keep Falcao and will land somewhere. Eto'o is no in rush and Cavani will stay at PSG" #LFC

We'll get Di Maria. We have unlimited moneys.

Nani's renewal was one of our biggest mistakes in recent years, this loan would be a win situation for us if he plays really well and we end up with interest to be able to sell him next summer.

We're in much more of a need for a defensive midfielder than we are a centre back.
I disagree, but we're all entitled to our opinion. I feel that if we are going to play three at the back then we need to have more than three first team players. Blackett & Keane need more experience before they have expectations of being CL-quality thrust upon them.

I've watched us play with no defensive midfielder for many years and we were great.

Can see it now, Transfer deadline day, Jim White will be close to ejaculating as he announces Di Maria has signed a 4 year deal

For PSG

Another example of our bad transfer policy. At least we wins trophies to make up for it...Would have preferred we do both like Chelsea though

That tweet makes absolutely no sense. I am amazed how some of you trust any random tweet and start moaning about transfer policy. Yes it hasn't been great but that tweet is senseless.

What is that tweet trying to say? Is it adding Rojo transfer fee and Nani wages and equate it with Carvalho's fee? How is it apple to apple, both financially books wise and football wise? Rojo is CB and Carvalho is CM. Second, Carvalho is no proven world beater himself, yet. That tweet implies as if we are missing out on Vidal there. Third, we don't even know the agreement between United and Sporting regarding Nani. I don't think we will pay his FULL wages and send him there. Will help us no end unless there are some conditions for future and wages are shared partially.

He's using the Mirror as his source... how long have they been reliable? According to many on here, they never have lol

Still, got to love the logic:
Mirror posts positive transfer news - It's all BS, it'll never happen, they're chatting crap.
Mirror posts negative transfer news - Well thats that then, he was never going to come anyway.

In hindsight that Nani contract renewal was such utter lunacy considering the inconsistent form he had showed in Saf's last season and throughout his career.

We will now struggle to offload him for the next 3 years, because of those wages.

I would believe they are adding the reported Rojo fee, alongside Nani wages. Implying that for what we got Rojo, we could have gotten a player that would be a more sensible addition. Carvalho is not a world beater, but he would have been our smartest addition this summer if we landed him, because he would add structure to our midfield and allow Herrera to play a free role where he is more influencial in the attack.

The Moyes effect.

We do this far too often and it's leaving us in messy position.
