If true, then we must have something in place for midfield in January. Unlikely that Moyes would sell himself so short on numbers, not with our ill-luck with injuries recently.
Anderson doesn't even get on the bench for the league cup games so he doesn't have a spot that needs replacing. If true, then we must have something in place for midfield in January. Unlikely that Moyes would sell himself so short on numbers, not with our ill-luck with injuries recently.
Might be a punt that with Carrick, Fletch, Cleverley & Giggs fit, Fellaini to come back and Rooney playing in front of the midfield a lot we'll be alright? Given how many games Anderson has played he might feel its worth the risk?
Who are we likely to be looking at there, then?

Niguez is contracted to Atletico Madrid. They will probably have plans for him next year, especially if Koke leaves, and Tiago's contract is up.
How the feck does Barca have a first option on an Atletico youngster. Why would Atletico even agree to that?
That's the idea.Scouts.
Scouts everywhere.

Apparently it was some agreement with the David Villa deal, even then though for it to come in to place Barca would have to 1st, want the player at that time and 2nd, pay the fee, and that's even if Atletico want to sell.
Moyes right in the middle of the photo. The others are just fans. You'll have to forgive me, I have no idea who anyone there is supposed to be.

Is it just me who finds a so called first option completely pointless? Regardless of if they have it or not, common sense would imply that he club would have to match the other teams offer and want him in the first place, which leaves it up to the player anyway. So really, a first option clause means nothing at all, other then the club having to ask them if they want to match a bid. I think it's Jimmy Lumsden next to him too. Could be after him this window then if they've went as far as going to Italy.
It's intriguing that Moyes is at a Juventus match, and yet the initial assumption is that he's there to see a Cagliari player...

Phil Nev ringing Moyes: 'Gaffer, I'm at the ground, where are you sitting? Tell Jimmy to stand up and wave.'
